Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place

Location was '' bang-on'', excellent. You walk out to the best restaurant's, eateries in C.P. Break fast was great. The house keeping responded very fast and efficiently and effectively serviced all requirements. The Front desk also was good.

The Front Desk / or Reception goes to sleep after 6 pm and do not respond in time, some times. This can be improved. May be the Juniors take over after 6 PM and they need to be trained. However, the overall experience was good and nothing much to complain about.

Not sure what all the 7.0s are about reading the reviews. Stayed here for 4 nights, needing a refuge and a bit of luxury from the hustle and bustle of Northern India after traveling for 3 weeks before flying home. The Radisson exceeded my expectations. Brilliant Radisson hotel in a fantastic location for exploring New and Old Delhi. Rooms perfectly soundproofed creating a refuge from the honking and constant noise of busy Connaught Place. All the staff, from the doormen & security, reception, waiters and housekeeping staff are incredibly welcoming with a smile, namaste and quick conversation. Most expansive freshly cooked tasty breakfast I have ever had in any hotel across the world, both western and Indian offers. The kebab factory offers a mouthwatering, and stuffing, tasting menu for a reasonable price. Comfortable standard hotel rooms, sufficient space, really fluffy duvet and pillows which were much needed after traveling. Lovely hot shower and clean washroom. Yeah, reading some of the reviews there are several complaints about Hawkers and Homeless outside, but that's not the Radissons problem, more of a Delhi problem and no reason to mark down the hotel in my opinion.

Some DIY touch ups needed (room 240), woodwork tarnished and some mould in washroom, but nothing a quick sponge down with bleach will quickly clean up.. That is just me being nick picking as this didn't affect the quality of my stay in any way. If the restaurants are being used for private functions it will be good to be informed in advance as I did intend to eat at fifty9 Friday evening, but was turned away. The Connaught Bar is a tad lifeless and staff could have cleaned away dishes and glasses from previous guests quicker.

All the rooms of this Radisson are on a very long floor. One side to the street: very noisy from the traffic. The other side to the back. Not much noise from outside. But walls are very thin and therefore very noisy from the floor. A room, which is at the beginning of the floor can be problematic at night, because a lot of loudly talking people passing by to get to their rooms. The staff was extremely helpful, and accepted my wish to exchange my room to a room at the end of the floor, where it was much quieter.

What I did not like at all. Still making my payment for checking out, a woman from the hotel approached me from the side with a tablet and asked me to give my review and evaluation of the hotel on her tablet right now; - in front of her and at the reception. As I told her, I would give a review later, she did not want to accept that and told me, that I can make my review right now. I repeated, that I would like to make it later and again, she pushed me to do it right now in front of her. I had to refuse her 3 times, until she finished pushing me to give my review in front of her at the reception. Would have given 9 points without this behaviour, which I found annoying. So I only give 8 points.

We were delighted with our stay. It’s a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. We were able to walk to the main markets and get the metro around Delhi from our doorstep. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and they put on the most amazing gala night. We danced in to the early hours and the food was incredible. Staff all lovely. All went above and beyond. So helpful and friendly. We particularly loved Surender, the concierge. One of the nicest hotels of our entire tour.

It was all amazing. The only small criticism would be the high prices for a La carte in the restaurant. But buffet was good value.

The housekeeping services, and the front desk management made me absolutely welcome and comfortable, gladly changing my room where someone had smoked inside it, and they moved me to a better room. I'm most grateful as had a 4-day stay at the hotel booked.

The restaurant staff are kind and helpful. Just that it seemed each minute they dropped a plate off or picked one up, they asked for feedback to be added to their review. This after only speaking to each of them for less than 2min! So I sense the training needs to be put in place to teach them this can come across as inauthentic.

I transferred to this hotel after having a horrible experience at another. This was heaven compared and honestly it made my trip worth it. The service was attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. The bed and pillows where soo comfortable! I absolutely looked forward to come back and destress.

One another note, I think I’ve consistently seen a lower quality of cleanliness in hotels in warmer climates. I had to send back my towels every day because they had “dark brown spots”. That’s probably the worst if all, there is no quality control when it comes to towels. There are a couple of other things often overlooked but I just couldn’t. The tea/coffee bar was dirty. The kettle had buildup of maybe lime, just seems like it wasn’t washed In a while. The bathroom shower had mold and the grout looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. The area around the sink also had mold and dirty grout as well. I just tried not to touch the surfaces when I was showering.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place and I am absolutely thrilled to share my positive experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel to the time of my departure, everything was simply fantastic. Abin and Kiran, who were at the reception, went the extra mile to guarantee a truly memorable stay. They efficiently managed the check-in process, especially considering that my ten-year-old son wasn't feeling well. Their compassionate actions greatly contributed to making him feel more comfortable. My time at Radisson Blu was truly outstanding. I deeply appreciate the exceptional service, the cozy accommodations, and the overall delightful ambiance that the hotel offered. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Delhi so that I can revisit the wonderful experience at Radisson Blu. Starting from the reception desk to the housekeeping crew and even the security personnel, every individual exhibited attentiveness and a readiness to assist with any inquiry or need Thank you to the entire Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught place team for making my stay unforgettable!!

The room was clean and Pawan Teelucksingh added some personal touch in the decoration which was very well appreciated by the kids and myself. The attention to detail from all 3 staffs that cleaned our room was very did not go unnoticed and i wanted to thank them all. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of both local and international dishes, catering to different tastes. Everyday we were welcomed by Vishal at the breakfast buffet who was always willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that we are happy and feeling at home.

The variety in the breakfast could be improved and cars to be able to drop off passengers more closer to hotel.

I don't like it when Booking.com suddenly cancelled my reservation booking few hours to my check-in time. At first, the reception personel told me that there's no more available room for that night despite of my persistence to search for available room, until he seek help from his managee. I went into panic and stress as where I will stay overnight prior to my examination day. Good thing, the hotel Manager was very accommodating and assured me that he will find a room for me to stay overnight. Luckily he found one. Thankful for that. I was able to sleep well though the noise from the hallway can be heard inside my room.

Staff are very courteous and helpful. Especially concierge was super helpful to help locate Ub. Driver every morning. Room service is very efficient and the food quality is good. Breakfast choice is good. Very central location in CP. Finally I was offered late check out which was very much appreciated.

The laundry service needs improvement. The laundry is not delivered to the room and I needed to call to get the laundry delivered. It was sometime folded instead of put on hangers which defeated the purpose to have them ironed.
