Tatvamasi Homestay

I don't think there is a better host and accommodation than this one on booking and here is the explanation. Pankaj (the host) welcomed us at 5 am even though we were supposed to arrive after 12... he even showed us must-visit places that we didn't know about, he drove us to the subway with his car and showed us good restaurants, shops etc. he was available at any time of the day for all questions and services, he even offered more without asking for anything in return... the accommodation was very clean and comfortable, enough space, it's even better in person than in the pictures and most importantly, it's located in a safe area. high score deserved. thank you for everything!

There are two concerns in India, Safety, and Hygiene, absolutely no concern here! I don't know even where to start: - Mr. Pankaj is absolutely amazing, he is super helpful, he guided me through everything, what to avoid at the airport! at the area! where to visit? how, when, and where! - He showed me how to use Metro! gave a metro card! traveled to a different city with his card - He himself came out with me to take taxi for me when needed! - He dropped me at Metro station using his own car! - He always offers Chai (Tea) and he always provides you what you need. they always find a way! - The staff are super polite! like wow! super amazing! everyone is amazing here! so lovely! - He waited for me to be absolutely sure how long I need to stay (since I wasn't sure and I had a flexi ticket), then I paid later..... seriously, where it happens? what else can be done? where do you get all these? he is the best part of this (kindness, hospitality, helpful!...etc) - The place is super safe! I always felt I am at home! I never felt that safe in my travel! let alone in India! - The hygiene issue is not much of a concern here! while its a huge issue in the country! - The room has adapters/socket for non-indian plugs! no need to run around to charge your laptop/mobile. You will not be as comfortable and relax in a 5 star hotel! and I never write feedback in that level of detail! first time in my life! for a reason!

Go find it! literally PERFECT! I do %100 recommend it! I booked it for 6/7 nights and ended up staying/extending it for additional two nights!

We stayed previously at Tatvamasi's and had an excellent experience. It was therefore a no-brainer when our daughter travelled to Delhi alone, needing a safe and comfortable place to stay. As expected, she felt safe, comfortable and supported during her stay. Pankaj provided her with a warm welcome, took time to discuss safety as well as sightseeing tips, and showed her the neighbourhood. He checked in with her regularly to ensure her safety and well-being and provided advice and guidance as needed. She reported enjoying the spacious room, reliable wifi, quiet location and the excellent Chai tea. In short, another great stay at Tatvamasi. Thank you!

Not staying long enough

The location of this homestay is fabulous! Tucked away in a posh locality, free from the onslaught of daily traffic, surrounded by a serene environment... There's nothing to not like about this place. Though they don't serve food but they are located at a convenient distance from lot of eateries and are easily accessible for food delivery apps. The rooms were cosy. It had such a homely feel that my son just didn't want to leave this place! The rooms were well maintained and had all modern amenities. There's a kitchen that you can use to cook anything you wish. There's hot water in the bathroom and hot and cold AC in the rooms. They provided plates and spoons and cutlery; and water bottles and the tea- coffee bags were frequently restocked. The stay was beyond our expectations! What added to the beauty of our stay was the exemplary treatment we received from our ever-so- gracious host Mr. Pankaj, who went out of his way to make us comfortable. From the moment we interacted with him till we bid adieu it was all a surreal experience. It felt as if we went to visit our extended family and the feelings were actually reciprocated. His attention to details, his care, concern, guidance and the willingness to go the extra mile fo his residents is something that I've never seen anywhere. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness won everybody's hearts! It takes a really big heart to be able to treat your guests like family instead of customers...and Mr. Pankaj checked all the right boxes!👍🏼 For all future travellers, if you are looking for a good, safe place to stay in Delhi.. Tatvamasi should be on the top of your list. And even if you do not wish to roam around anywhere, this place is perfect to just tuck yourself in and relax! The host, Pankaj, has the edge over the property in excellence. Pankaj is warm, kind, and the epitome of helpfulness. He explained how to get to the nearby commercial center and then because I had arrived at night, drove the route! Since I had a late dinner, he even came to get me to save me a long walk back to the accommodation. He communicated early and immediately responded to any inquiries. He provided invaluable information about sites and best time to go. He helped procure a bus ticket for me. I can't say enough about what a stellar host he is! Tatvamamasi Homestay is spotlessly maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable. Pankoj's staff are also helpful and friendly.

I can't think of anything I did not like.

This homestay offers a humble, comfortable and welcoming environment for travelers in Delhi. The quiet location is a pleasure, providing some respite from an otherwise busteling Delhi! The location is central, making the metro an easy option. The accommodation is clean, with comfortable, good sized rooms, that make it a perfect base for exploring the city. The staff are friendly and welcoming...offering you Masala Chai upon request. Pankaj's hospitality, kindness and willingness to assist, not to mention his local knowledge (which enhanced our Delhi stay), make it a great choice for those seeking a personalized experience, especially first time visitors to India.

Unfortunately our room did not have much of an outside view.

You need to stay here! I wasn't sure this was possible, but Tatvamasi homestay exceeded our expectations. We wish we could have stayed longer and will absolutely be staying here again when we come back to Delhi. The amazing host, Pankaj, is what takes this homestay over the top. He stayed up late to welcome us on our first night, had great advice for visiting Delhi, chatted with us and gave us snacks in the morning, and even drove us to the subway station on our first day and a place to get warm clothes on our last morning. This may sound like a small thing, but there is nothing better than feeling at home when you are visiting a chaotic city like Delhi for the first time. Truly felt like we were visiting family! The location is also fantastic. Close to the AMAZING subway system and a 5 minute walk to an area with restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. It is also QUIET -- such a gift after exploring Delhi all day. You're missing out if you stay anywhere else!

After I read all the great reviews about Tatvamasi Homestay, I was very curious about it and decided to stay here as well. And all I can say is, that it was the best decision!!! The owner of the Homestay, Pankaj, is really an amazing person! So friendly, helpful and supporting with everything and giving so many great recommendations to explore Delhi. I felt immediately like home. I couldn't have wished for a better start into my India trip. I can just fully recommend this Homestay and I will definitely come back here whenever I am in Delhi again. Also the rooms are great and very clean and the location very good!!!

Absolutely nothing!

Our stay here was great. Big room, and most importantly, quiet!!! There’s a refrigerator which is convenient and the owner always supplies water and offers to help in any way he can. He recommended restaurants to us and answered any questions we had right away. Great advice on how to arrive to places. Amazing masala tea as well! Even gave us cold pills as we weren’t feeling well. Iron, microwave, and hair dryer available. Fabulous hospitality, definitely stay here!

Not one thing we didn’t like.

Pankaj, as a host, is just amazing. He is a genius managing the house and always paying attention to all guests. We are so happy that we started our stay in India and in Delhi with him, because his hints and advice are priceless. From restaurants to places to visit and how to move in Delhi, he always has a recommendation. Sometimes he even took us to the place personally. I would give him a note of 20 if possible. Also the house was nice, clean and we had no problems: Fridge worked, warm water ... Everything. Rooms were also cleaned daily. Nice details offering Chai-Tea also every time we arrived or left home. Last but not least, the location was quite convenient because there was a market full of Restaurants and Shops just 10min away and also the metro can be reached easily in 15min walk. Also the area is very calm compared to the rest of Delhi.

Nothing bad I can really say. It was a very nice stay. Obviously a home is not a hotel in terms of comfort and services, but if you like staying in a home, I can only recommend Pankaj's home.
