goSTOPS Udaipur - Rooms & Dorms

Location - Amazing location amidst old udaipur, all the popular sites are nearby esp. city palace, bagore ki haveli, market, ganghaur and ambrari ghats. night view is awesome hostel- 10 on 10 for cleanliness, rooms are spacious and clean. common area is vibrant and all the games like fusball, carrom is available. very good vibe Food - food is okay but as they are based at the central location, every good food joint, bar and pub is at walking distance.

The only thing i didn’t like was the lesser engagement from management to engage people, e.g no central music system, i was expecting some activities from the hostel which i have experienced in other hostels e.g music and dance in the evening.

Going to Udaipur, stay at GoSTOPS Udaipur! Ajeet and team were fantastic! Right from checking in though to sorting taxi to the airport, he was there for us, teaching us useful Hindi phrases on the way. Private room was vibrantly decorated with clean and efficient facilities. Great location for walking to local restaurants and sights- all of which Ajeet provided useful info on. Legend, dhanywad.

The location just overlooking the Pichola lake. Very clean and safe. The roof had a shared lounge and seating area to chillout and lot of fellow travellers to connect with.Walkable distance to the Ambrai and Hanuman Ghats .They have a kitchen to prepare for the guest and also common restrooms .Play good music, lively crowd since they have dorms so you will meet a lot of like-minded travellers Each dorm have private clean bathrooms and the bedding is very clean.

I thought the terrace faced the Pichola lake but just a very small corner peeked into the lake and the guests always sat there not allowing the rest to also get a chance to sit there .

It was my first stay in hostel and it was awesome because of the ambience and cleanliness. It is easy for any solo traveller to stay over here and you will enjoy the common area and make few friends. Currently it is managed by Bhavesh and Bharat, and they easily gel up with you and help you explore Udaipur as a local.

Everything was good so nothing.

We checked in for 2 nights. We hired an uber from the airport and then took an auto from the junction as the lanes are too small and cabs aren't allowed in. We had booked a room with shared bathroom.. the room was amazing. The toilet and bathroom were clean too. The rooftop cafe was good with good food. The staff was great and moreover it was at a convenient distance from all the tourist spots.. we hired an auto for the full day and was very reasonable and the driver was polite and obliging. The place is safe enough to take a night walk. All tourist spots are good except the vintage car museum. We payed INR 800 per person and there were hardly few cars. Not advisable.

GoStop Udaipur is situated at nice location. The surrounding area is covered with nice 5 star hotels and some great restaurants. Great for backpackers and if you are on a budget and couldn't able to advance book Zostel. GoStop is your only stop solution. Rooftop cafe area with Rooftop Common bathroom. Overall a pleasant experience/

Space constraint. Since most of the hostels in Udaipur build on a single building not much space to explore the property. Attached common bathroom or toilet is not available. Its present at the rooftop of the building

A great place, had an awesome experience there. The room was less spacious than the normal hotel rooms, although the common space was good, The hospitality overall was great, and there are nice options for quick bites to grab on the rooftop for breakfast and night.....thanks all of us special thanks ajeet bhai

The location was pretty good and was clean and comfortable. The common area was great to relax and enjoy around. Few of staffs were good and friendly. If you are here for workation or solo trips then this is a great place to enjoy.

They have policy of not doing fun/make noise post 11, and even if you ask for one extra sppon to eat they charge for it. Also, outsiders are not allowed to be in the common area, which was a bummer.

Wifi facilities need to be changed...there are people who work and do early check-in so for them wifi should be free not restricted to the checkin times .. This is one of the bad policy of goStops i have faced.. My bus was late so I had to use my mobile network to work which was difficult.... Do change it.

last i came was when there was open breakfast for all. Today the cafe doesnt provide food as expected. the tea coffee is also of machine make which disappointed me. had to visit other cafes even when we had better view for food.

the bathroom on first floor needs repair for flushing and everything. the flush works but doesn't remove from the pot. The housekeeping and cleanliness is too good
