Panna Vilas - A Lake Facing Boutique Hotel

So this was our first trip to Rajasthan and our first destination was Udaipur. After searching for a lot of properties we finalised on this one. Being skeptical initially , all our worries were resolved when we reached the property. Mr Hemant and his team were very well spoken and polite. We asked for a room change as we did not like the initial room provided , and it was changed the next day. The restaurant serves amazing food! Mr Hemant also helped us with a taxi to tour the city. We hired it for 2 days and toured the entire city. The taxi driver was very nice and polite too. The property is a lake facing boutique hotel, comfortable and clean rooms , well spoken and courteous staff and overall well managed. We had a wonderful stay for 4 days.

Where should I start by praising Panna Vilas So the hotel is pet friendly and they have incredibly good staff. The best part is that few of them are specially abled and I was so impressed by the management that they are supporting them. Hemant ji at the front desk is the best person you can talk to if you want to know something about Udaipur and he knows every single thing plus he is very soft spoken. Hotel has the most beautiful view of fateh sagar. The food was amazingly good and they have a roof top bar and restaurant who serve amazing cocktails and food. A must visit place to stay and eat.

Let’s start from the very beginning we reached Udaipur around 7 AM and by 8 AM we were at the property the staff was soo good and friendly that they allowed us early check-in. We upgraded our stay to lake facing room and trust me the view from the room was mesmerising. Now let’s talk about the property so it has good green surroundings and the property represents the culture of the Udaipur with the amazing hospitality. The view from the restaurant was next level and the food is delicious. The staff is very well trained keep up the great work and I look forward to stay with you guys again.

There are many points to appreciate this property: 1. Location of the property is just perfect. You gonna love the view from the terrace. 2. Delicious food and cocktails 3. Live music with good vibe. 4. The staff is so friendly that even during my one night stay they made me so comfortable. 5. Heritage property with a touch of aesthetics Perfect property to stay at this price.

Fantastic lake facing heritage hotel. The property is aesthetically designed with very good touch of heritage. Property is pet friendly and you'll find furry friends if you are lucky enough. They have amazing roof top lake facing bar serving delicious cocktails and food. A must visit place and amazing property to stay.

We made a last minute booking at panna vilas and we wished we could stay for just one more night. The view from the property is awesome and the food was also delicious. The weather when we reached Udaipur was cloudy and it was raining so it was cherry on the cake. They also arranged last minute boat ride in Fateh Sagar lake for us. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. Best option to stay on Fateh Sagar road.

Its a beautiful property facing the lake. The room os spacious of 2 people if you want extra bed then taking a bigger room is better. The hotel is close to all the attractions in the city. Staff is friendly. I suggest to include breakfast, it was good. The hotel staff will also help you with local travel arrangements

The bathroom had a strong smell

First of among many things I want to mention is the location. The location of the property is just awesome you will be spellbound by watching the view of Fateh Sagar lake. We visited here is the monsoon so the view was the best. Secondly the staff is very much friendly and courteous. The dining experience was amazing and the food was delicious. Rooms were quite spacious and comfortable.

food quality. specially Rice Quality, Use of excessive oil in food. However breakfast items were OK. Absence of essential items like slippers(it was given when asked) and Tooth brush/comb etc.

The location of the property is peaceful just opposite Fateh Sagar lake. The property is well maintained and the staff is very cooperative. Special mention for Hemant ji. The rooftop restaurant was amazing with live music and dance coupled with candle lit dinner facing the lake. Just WOW. The price of the food was quite reasonable and quality was good, the breakfast was also satiating. The rooms were large. Thumbs up.
