Trident Udaipur

One of the best properties in India with exceptional customer service. We visited the property in August this year. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. While we layed back on the couch with our welcome drink, the staff processed our check-in. Smoothest check-in ever. Each and every member of the staff was courteous, warm, friendly, and always ready for assistance with a smile. But I would like to call out a few names which really stood out in terms of customer service. One of them was Rupin. He gave us an entire walking tour of the property and explained the history behind every nook. He showed us the bada mahal and sunset point. He waited patiently for my family to relax at the sunset point and escoted us back to the property. I would also like to mention Chef Anuradha. She and her team prepared some delicious rajasthani dishes for us during our breakfast. These dishes were not on the buffet and were specifically made with our taste buds in mind. On our last day at the property, Chef Anuradha visited us on our breakfast table, and upon realising that we had a troubled stomach due to consumption of street food, she quickly got us some hot piping khichdi. Absolutely homemade style which is perfect for a delicate stomach. Absolutely talented chef ! I'd also like to mention Ashok from housekeeping and Aman from the breakfast restaurant who were always ready for assistance and demonstrated amazing customer service. I have travelled the world and stayed at many properties, but Trident will be one of my most cherished stays.

Highly recommended. Fabulous property and excellent welcoming staff and professional service. Slightly interior to the heart of the city, but worth the beautiful gardens with their peacocks and parrots to lounge around in. Ultimate indulgence. Good breakfast spread and multi cuisine options in buffet, along with a local performance .

Slightly interior to the city, and not very close to other places or landmarks. Unlike some other properties, it doesn't feel like you are living on the lake. I would suggest some more effort by the hotel to explain sight seeing options and ways of access.

Very nice location. Very energetic staff ready to help and make one comfortable. Boat ride in the late evening was an experience that will be cherished for a long time. Very good spread for the breakfast and specifically south Indian portion was very tasty. Front office lead by Urvi deserves a special mention as she was always around to check if every thing is going nicely. So was the case with Aman in restaurant and Sameer. The room was nicely looked after with personal touch by Purbayan. Overall a very memorable experience that both of us would remember for a long time. Particularly remembered is the long walks in sylvan campus and in the lawn near the jetty point early in the morning.

Walking pathway could be considered to be further extended to cover the campus.

Amazing location, excellent reception staff, attentive service at restaurant. From the time we arrived till we left the high quality of service did not change. Absolutely outstanding property. We've travelled around the world. You make us proud that there could be a wonderful place such as yours for service, maintenence of property and impeccable attention by the staff to every single request. Even the IT person was sent to our room to help us connect to WiFi. Not even New York hotels provide us with such service. The way the hotel is run speaks for a high quality management that's on par with top most hotels in the world. You have done India proud. We chatted with other guests while we were there. They were in awe with the way the service was provided effortlessly. So well done. Congratulations.

Review: From the moment we stepped into the lobby of this beautiful hotel we knew we were in for an exceptional experience. Every aspect of our stay at this establishment was nothing short of fabulous. We were enthralled by its elegant decor top-notch service and the attention to detail that permeated every corner. The rooms itself were a haven of comfort. The staff without a doubt were the true gems of this establishment. I would like to give a shoutout to Mr Amit ( Front desk), Mr Sushant and Mr Shubhankar (House keeping team) and our highlight experience of sunset boat ride assisted by Mr Shekhar Tiwari is something we will always cherish and thank you to all for their exceptional service. Their warm and genuine smiles greeted us at every turn making us feel truly valued as guests. From the helpful concierge who went above and beyond to assist us with our inquiries to the attentive housekeeping staff who ensured our room was always immaculate the level of service provided was exemplary. It was clear that the hotel's commitment to excellence extended to every member of its staff creating a harmonious and memorable experience for guests. Additionally the hotel's convenient location made it easily accessible and allowed us to explore the vibrant cityscape with ease. Thank you Trident, Udaipur for your hospitality. We are definitely coming back soon.

Check-in was pampering with friendly staff, a welcome drink, accommodations for our early arrival, and all the usual 5-star services such as luggage delivery and tour of the room and amenities. The peacock-laden garden is perfect for leisurely strolls and views of the pool and waterfront. The star of our stay: We had a magical dinner at Trident's Aravalli restaurant on a beautiful rooftop terrace at sunset.

The room was small but sufficient. The add-ons to book such as airport transfer and 30-minute boat ride are exorbitantly priced. The neighboring sister-hotel, Oberoi Udaivillas is spectacular, but the property appears to be closed off to Trident guests unless dining there, which is strange for 2 luxury properties under the same ownership. The hotel is quite far from the main Udaipur attractions; though this provides a peaceful atmosphere to rest and relax, expect to overpay for rickshaw rides to the city and back.

I chose to celebrate a special occasion  with the Trident over other hotels as I was confident of their professional service and they far outshone my expectations. From the moment you drive in, you are surrounded by luxury and tranquility. The extensive Oberoi property is gorgeous, with beautifully curated gardens. We were very warmly received by Mr. Shubham and his team from Front Office who ensured that my 4 day holiday and celebration was most memorable. The staff were courteous, friendly and most attentive at all times which added to the comfort of our stay. Special thanks to - Front Office - Mr. Shubham who began this wonderful trip by giving us a lovely room upgrade,arranging for a cake and chocolates. Mr. Piyush De and Ms. Menuka Gurung who constantly attended to all my queries, needs and helped with the arrangements to celebrate my special day. Also got good suggestions on places to visit near Udaipur by Mr. Akshat. . Housekeeping - Mr. Pritam and a lady colleague (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) who decorated the room beautifully. Aravali Restaurant - Ms.Tina who always tried to give us our favourite table for breakfast and dinner. Mr, Vishal, Nishant, Miki, Amit, Soham and Lokender who were attentive and quick with the breakfast service no matter how busy the restaurant was. Soham and Vishal had great suggestions when we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat for dinner. The Manager of Aravalli (just cannot recall his name) specially got us a couple of super delicious kachoris to taste. The breakfast spread had a wonderful variety of foods. Our dinner meals were also delicious. Our compliments to the Chefs who served us super yummy meals everyday. Thank you for a very memorable and relaxing holiday.

Nothing to dislike.

TRIDENT is gifted with excellent staff and each member of the team looked after us with warmth, care and professionalism. The rooms were excellent and we had some memorable meals, the chef takes pride in describing the Lal maas, cooked to perfection while their aromatic Tom kha soup was equally delightful. The terrace with amazing views of the property and hills around is a great place to start your day where the attentive staff brings you a wonderful breakfast. The warmth and care of the Banquet, housekeeping, front desk team along with the attentive concierge and security made our stay so comfortable and we will go back again very soon!!!

Wish we could stay longer

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and service was very prompt. We took a boat ride arranged by the hotel that was an unforgettable experience. Restaurant food is top notch. The property is very well maintained and rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A lot of attention to detail is evident in all aspects of the property as well as the service. Special mention to our boat rider Mr Shekhar, our car driver Mr Brijmohan, Rachaita from housekeeping and all Dev from the concierge team.

Nothing to dislike

We were travelling with kids (10 yr and 5 yr) and had the most wonderful stay. Thanks to the amazing warm and welcoming staff. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay. They set up decorations in our room for my daughters birthday celebration and sent a cake as well. The highlight was the kids area with so many actitivities for kids all age and dedicated staff to care for the kids. Both my kids did not want to leave the kids play zone. I would highly recommend Trident to anyone looking for a world class experience.
