Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, GST Road, Chennai

The breakfast was very good and the dinner buffet was excellent. The wi-fi quality was quite good. The staff was quite friendly and responsive. The gym, pool and game facilities were fair.

A few of the things were not working when I checked-in and had to be fixed - the TV set top box wasn't working, the iron table was broken. The bathroom could've been a bit more clean as there were some stains on the floor. The water heating was also not consistent (it was hot and cold with no control)

This hotel is located outside Chennai and there are naturally many other hotels in central Chennai that would get much higher rating and I would select if my purpose was to stay in center of Chennai. On the other hand if your meetings are in the area of Welcome Hotel then this is avery good hotel to stay at.

The bed and pillows in room were delightful, the roof bar was good. the location was good and easy access for the visits planned.

The food was OK, I would have like bottled water in the room and whilst not an issue of the hotel the road outside is dangerous and there are no pavements for safe access to the town.

Staffs were very polite and helpful, particularly Mr.Vetriselvan-Reception gave warm welcome, allowed late checkout after understanding our situation and even extended complimentary upgrade. Dining experience was fine as almost all the dishes were tasty/healthy (to name a few-chicken sausage, chilly mushroom) and Mr.Siranjeevi at Restaurant extended excellent service with good attitude.

Carrot and Beetroot cakes had higher levels of baking soda taste, so could not consume them despite healthier ones

well maintained. neat and clean. they upgraded my room which was a delight. thank you.

due to admission rush to nearby college, there was crowd during break fast. staffers could have handled better as this must be happening every year around admission time. apart from it rest is excellent

location is great, bed was too comfortable and had a proper sleep after a long travel and break fast was really excellent.

I would say cleanliness is less for the money charged, like in my room opened shampoo and body lotions have been kept. Restrooms were not properly cleaned. check in also took lot of time at the late night.

Wen it was fortune select they used to keep detox water near lift ,,this time as it is under ITC i t was missing ,,and something was missing which I don't understand ,,,

Mr Karthik from Front office was very clam and on point for most of our quries. I was often checked about my stay comfort by the duty managers during breakfast felt quite welcoming.

I wont not say the quality same with all other front office staffs, need to improve. They dont talk local laungauge as well. When ala cart in the room service is not provided, you should deliver the swigi or zomato orders to room.

not very clean , toilets need to be cleaned, carpets in the rooms were dirty,….vacuum not done for long time staff shortage, took long time to arrange breakfast buffet not a well maintained property , Its fine for official stay but for families not recommended,

Excellent place to stay. I went for my son's admission at SRM college. I made the booking on last minute and this is a great hotel to stay.
