Very nice property... location is great !! Very cooperative staff, good food and nice service!!! top notch hospitality..... Taj never disappoints. As we checked in late night We requested for late check out.. which they provided, Our return flight was very late around midnight, after site seeing they provided room for 2 hrs again for getting freshen up before airport departure. This helped me to get some rest as I was unwell, after knowing this served us coffee too, which helped me to feel better!!! So caring and helpful staff... especially We would like to thank Mr Asif, Jayant and Owais ... and chef Nishant for delicious and clean food !!! stay was wonderful and all staff including house keeping was cooperative. They made our 25 anniversary memorable

Steff very friendly, Reception welcome extremely customer centric (Thanks Miss Rupsa, Mrs. Sarita and Mr. Asif) Restaurant extremely flexible in arranging family solutions (Thanks Mr. Virenda and Mr. Rakesh, so like Miss Muskan) Hall in perfect Indian style with flute musician every morning.

Restaurant kitchen very slow, nevertheless the staff compensate with adequate treatment and bonuses. Buffet and "a la cart" menu is not really international. Size of the room is essential (too little for the applied rates; a proper rate for this size should be around 9-12'000 INR + taxes, not more).

The service as Taj Ganges has been impeccable. All staff members of Taj Ganges were extremely attentive and exceptionally friendly. Restaurant manager Rakesh Mishra, Ms Gitanjali and the whole restaurant team made me feel like a king every single day. The 90-minute massage given by Ms. Jenny from the Wellness Centre and Spa was one of the best in my life. The extensive gardens of Taj Ganges are a tranquil oasis in the otherwise very busy and noisy town of Varanasi.

The hotel is not located in walking distance of the Ganga river and its ghats. Going there requires an auto rikshah or car.

The staff at Taj Ganges is great. From check-in to check-out, my group's experience was fantastic. Check-in was quick, seamless and we enjoyed the complimentary room upgrade. Even though suites were not available, we were provided with extra beds in both rooms. Room services provided extra towels, amenities and water upon request. Breakfast buffet options were delicious - can't say enough good things about the fresh mangoes. We also enjoyed the spa - foot and body massages were very well reviewed by everyone in my group. All in all, an excellent stay. I have already recommended the hotel to all my friends and family.

Taj hospitality at a reasonable price! Every need is anticipated, the staff is welcoming, warm and friendly and exceptionally attentive. A special mention to Ravi at the spa - he accommodated our last minute request for spa services and worked with our tight schedule, all as if it was no trouble at all! He also gave me the recipe for the Spa’s detox tea - and this I won’t forget! The buffet restaurant is very good, but Veruna is top notch - excellent food and service, especially Vek, who was our waiter and suggested an Italian gin that was quite good. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Wedding receptions and special events can be loud and a little disruptive if you are on the back side of the hotel. However, an un-asked for foot soak at 9pm more than made up for it, and we were so tired the wedding music did not disturb our rest!

The Taj Ganges is located on the extensive Nadesar Palace grounds. The grounds are extensive and exquisite. The hotel offers great value for money including a sumptuous breakfast buffet. There is a gentleman playing the flute every morning by the restaurant which adds a great touch to breakfast in the morning. I would be happy to recommend the Taj Ganges to all travellers. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

The amenities are great though the rooms are slightly on the smaller side. But overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and to reiterate the Taj Ganges is a good value for money. Travellers to Benaras likely have few better choices than what the Taj Ganges offers. I would be happy to recommend the Taj Ganges to all travellers.

Taj Ganges with its setting and ambience is worthy to be called “Wah Taj”. The sprawling lawns around the hotel with Peacocks adds to the novelty and provides a great opportunity for enjoyable walks and relaxation. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The real asset are the staff who are the crowning glory of Taj Ganges. We would like to make special mention of Mr Ajay Singh & Navneet at the fine-dining Indian restaurant “Varuna” who went out of their way to provide us with excellent service and a culinary experience worth remembering. Also, Ayush at the Concierge and our driver for the trip Mr Ram Bahadur Tiwary merit a special mention. Highly recommend Taj Ganges. We have found our home for future Varanasi visits.

The staff are the best thing about the hotel, although the rooms and facilities are in line with what one should come to expect of a Taj hotel - clean and comfortable rooms. I was here only for an overnight stay to perform an important religious rite by the river banks (ghats). Special thanks to Mr Amar Jha and his travel desk team who arranged everything from a car, priest, tour guide and a boat on very short notice and made the entire task very easy for me. The in-room dining services are outstanding as well. I had all my meals in the room and the food was delicious and served promptly. All staff are very warm and made me feel welcome at all times.

Food taste is not up to the mark. The common toilet in the lobby was not clean at all. Linen is old and property need a refurbishment.Hand shower was not working properly , not enough water coming out from it . Took a long time to finish bath . Amneties was good . Bathrobe had seen its better days . It was a torn bathrobe we got when we requested for one.

We had an amazing time at the hotel.The hotel is located at a convenient location and everything about the hotel is perfect .It s a very very neat n clean hotel with amazing staff.The breakfast spread is very elaborate and is a mix of local,Indian and continental dishes.They serve kachauri and alu ki sabji with jalebi as a part od local spread.I really love mangoes and Mr.Mangal from the staff went extra mile to source best of mangoes during my stay .Navneet from the hotel staff looked after smallest of our needs and also got a nice cake while we were leaving .Amazing hospitality and amazing hotel.Special mention of Mr.Mangal and Mr.Navneer for making our stay very memorable.
