Dun Cromain B&B

Maura was a wonderful hostess--provided tea, directions and even gave us a lift into town the next day. The house is immaculate and breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and since the property is out of the main area of town it is very quiet and pastoral. The house is modern--built specifically as a B&B and the yard/flowers are lovely.

In retrospect we should have booked two separate rooms rather than one room for two couples, but it worked out as all four of us are good friends, and I think that the room we booked was the only one available at time of booking. We didn't have a car so we taxied to the property, and then walked back and forth to town for dinner and shopping. Maura was kind enough to drive us to our marina the next day which we greatly appreciated.

Have had the pleasure of staying in this excellent bed and breakfast on a few occasions, the host is very warm and welcoming, the rooms and big and spacious and also kept warm in the cold winter months. The Breakfast was also top class and very well cooked. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again in the near future.

The proprietor allowed us to leave our luggage early until our rooms were ready so we could explore the town. She made recommendations about what to see and she kindly drove us to the marina with our luggage to pick up our rental cruiser. Terrific breakfast

No shower curtain in the bathroom room we stayed in making the floor slippery.

Just back from a lovely stay in Dun Cromain B&B. A Home from Home. We were met by Maura the lady of the house on arrival. Lovely warm welcome. Room was perfect with lovely comfortable beds and very spacious. Private bathroom with good shower. Lovely view of beautiful big garden. The house is in a great location with a short 10 min walk into town. Breakfast is great which is accompanied by Maura's lovely home made brown bread. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back again.

Maura was a very welcoming and friendly hostess and made us feel right at home. The homecooked to order breakfast was excellent. We loved the country location and laid-back homey style.

The window above the room door let in much light from the hallway at night - It would be nice to provide a curtain or cover.

very small thing but important to us. very bright in the mornings. suggest maybe a black out blind or black out lining for the curtains but everything else was perfect.

Excellent stay in this historic town, the welcome was great, accommodation as described and our breakfast more than enough to help us through our day. Our Labrador was well looked after too. Thoroughly recommended.

The place is very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very big and clean and the owners are lovely and very helpful. Great breakfasr cooked to order.

I liked everything

The Full Irish breakfast had one button mushroom and one small cherry tomato. These were more like a garnish rather than part of the meal.

Lovely proprietor, very spacious and tidy room with heat on when chilly, good breakfast, and great location just a 10 minute walk from town and pubs but still in a country setting.
