The Morgan Hotel

We opted no for breakfast as we wanted a lie in, we were baby free for 1 night, so took advantage of that. The bed was amazing, the most comfortable, best night sleep. Just sunk in to the plush pillows. The shower is sooo good too, big walk in, more than enough room for two 😋, with huge shower head, strong steamy shower. Loved our view out into the street of temple bar too wasn't noisy when we were going asleep which was a plus. Loved having a mini fridge to put our waters in, as when we came in from our night was nice to have cold water before bed and next morning. Staff very friendly and welcoming too. Thank you Erika. The romantic cocktail shots for Valentines and heart chocolates we're a nice little touch. We would definitely stay at the Morgan again but this time have breakfast and a meal and make it a long weekend.

The residence bar was closed when we returned at 1.30. A nightcap would of been nice.

Location is perfect, straight onto temple bar. Staff are lovely and helpful, hotel bar/restaurant is a great area to sit in for a cocktails and bed is really comfy. Would 100% recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Nothing we didn’t like… but we did have a problem with our room on arrival. It looked really run down, paint peeling off in the bathroom, there was also footprint marks in the shower and the wardrobe mirror was cracked - so initially that really upset me as it was a surprise for my boyfriends 30th. But the staff at reception was really apologetic and and moved us straight away. We also wasn’t told about the fire alarm test in the morning, so we got to our room and it went off which stressed us out. We was trying to get out of the hotel to then be told by a cleaner it’s just a drill.

Just got back from a trip to Dublin- the Morgan hotel exceeded my expectations; the staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Right in the city centre so an excellent location. A special message to Nina who served us in the restaurant of the hotel- she is an absolute credit to the team, down to earth and made us feel so welcome! This is my third trip to Dublin and I will be booking the Morgan hotel when I return.

If we had to mention one thing we didn’t like, it would be the lighting in the bedrooms- as females, we struggled when getting ready with the lights not being above and only getting light from the lamps. This is being extremely picky though and it didn’t change the overall opinions of the hotel!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Dublin. Very easy to take express bus to/from airport (two minutes from the hotel front door). They were able to accommodate our earlier check-in which was great. We loved the central location as it was very easy to walk around and explore all of Dublin. The staff were all outstanding, welcoming, and extremely helpful. This included lending us a universal adapter to charge our electronics as the one we had didn't match the outlets. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the room was very spacious for two people with a comfortable bed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Dublin. Overall, great value in an amazing location.

Its a great location in Temple Bar, close to all it has to offer. Breakfast is great, you get a choice of buffet or you can choose from a menu and be served. Nice bar The bed was very comfortable and good AC in the room. Also, high quality shower gel etc

It was a bit noisy outside, Ive stayed previously and didn't have that problem, so clearly a different facing room. I still slept though! But just in case you struggle with noise, you may what to ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from Temple Bar noise. I ate in the hotel one night and although the food was nice it was expensive and pretty small tbh.

In the heart of temple bar which is convenient if you are wanting to be in walking distance to many things. The beds were the most comfortable beds we stayed on during the duration of our travels (compared to 7 other hotels). The room was a great size and the bathroom was too. Great selections of coffee with the nespresso.

We were in a room facing the alley way and both nights we had a group of street people screaming, fighting and smoking Crack outside. That was a bit disruptive for sure. The double blinds and black out blinds help and were great. I wonder if proving a sound machine would be a help to drow out some of the noise outside

Amazing reception and very helpful staff. Zaira was always welcoming and helped us alot booking for tickets and calling taxis.

We were a family with kids in connected rooms, It would have been better if there were wooden doors for toilets with locks instead of glass sliding doors without locks. Also a walking in shower instead of a bath tub to make it easier for kids to use the shower because the bath tub is high for them to climb in by themselves and there is a risk of falling even for senior people.

Location of the hotel is outstanding, on the main street of bars at Temple bar. You can easily head back and change after a day of exploring then enjoy a night out in good restaurants and the bars. The room was kept clean and serviced with new towels, cartoned water and so on. The room was a lovely size and there was enough room to relax and chill out. Some may dislike the noise, however it gave a good atmosphere of enjoying a weekend in Dublin.

The bathroom was quite small with the toilet in an awkward position near the wall. The shower pressure and temperature took some time to adapt to. However, these were minimal things.

Location was great. We visited Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral, shopping at very nice stores and boutiques and of course drinking and dining in Temple Bar. Room was nice and comfortable.

The only King beds are on the first two floors. They mentioned noise at check in, but we were not prepared for the “noise”! Right outside the hotel can be compared to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Extremely busy and lots of crowd and music noise. This could be easily abated by better windows to nullify the sound.

The customer service was excellent and so was the location. Maria at reception, gm manager was so very helpful. Rouis and Nina at the bar were very attentive and even though there was some commotion at the bar, they made us feel very safe. Niko at security on Saturday night was fantastic too.

A couple sitting at the bar tables were quite drank and rude, with the man taking pictures of young girls that he did not know, who were dancing. Very inappropriate.
