fabulous property , clean tidy and all modern. nice layout lovely rooms spacious. food was excellent and the portions were great! great atmosphere

the bartenders had no idea how make make a cocktail I stood at the bar for 17 mins in total looking at a bartender who hadn’t a clue how to make a cocktail and the manager,I assume,came up to him told him it was wrong and did a huff and apologised to me and walked away . instead of helping him ! and then he placed the wrongly made drinks down and started to dry glasses . I stood for a further 5 mins and nothing. she never re appeared and he never made my cocktail.

The hotel was lovely, spacious, modern and had all the amenities we needed. The room itself was large and lovely, and team refreshed it daily which was great. The staff at the hotel, from reception to the team in the restaurant, were absolutely incredible! They really made us feel welcome and home and went above and beyond to make sure we were okay. We added breakfast to our booking on arrival which had a lengthy menu with lots of choices and the quality of the breakfast was fantastic too. Not only is the hotel great, but the customer service was exceptional! Will be returning to stay the next time were visiting our friends in the area!

It's great to see a large hotel being run well . The staff were all very efficient and friendly and I think this stems from the Manager. When we stayed there was some sort of event at the hotel but it didn't affect our stay at all . We ate in the restaurant and again everyone was super helpful. Some of the other places we stayed in were more expensive and not as good as Longcourt House Hotel .

My overall impression of this hotel is one of friendliness. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was €15 but the menu presented was confusing as we were very unsure of what was included as each section had different prices listed. Turned out that the €15 covered everything. There was no buffet table here so if you wanted the juice topped up you had to get the server's attention.

Each time we passed through the lobby there was a very unpleasant smell that one associates with drains.

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Clean and modern spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was impeccably clean & cosy. The manager or owner ( super pleasant man) was very helpful and kind, had an issue in the middle of the night whereby needed to see a doctor, the man mentioned above - he was very caring, kind and helpful - thank you for your help and those lovely chilled bottles of water and coffee at 4am! This is an excellent, professionally run hotel where not just treated as another guest but with compassion and comfort, the staff are exceptionally friendly, lovely atmosphere here. Will be staying again soon.

The staff were very friendly and the food was high standard. The dining room was so busy, which I think werr mostly locals... hence speaking of the high quality food. There was music playing also. Lovely. Pre covid vibes while tables were still sanitised, it felt like normal.

The room smelled a little fusty, and the toilet roll was in the most awkward place ever! Also all the extras that make the room look nice in the advertised pictures were removed. I suspect this is due to laundry in relation to covid, but not sure. It makes the room look less inviting but I have seen this in many a hotel since covid. Hopefully with relaxing of restrictions these items will return

Hotel is next to the road. If your room face the main road, it can be a bit noisy but if you’re drunk. You will be ok. There was a coach tour came late at 2.30 am on the night we stayed and they are really loud. It would be great if the hotel have a sign “Please no noise aft , guests are sleeping. Something like that.

This hotel was one of the best I have stayed at. The staff were very helpful and friendly- they went out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal. It was my birthday and the staff sang happy birthday to me which was not only a surprise but they meant it. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who wishes to experience true Irish hospitality. Well done to you all, I will certainly be coming back.

Room was very clean, lovely shower. Fine mugs for tea as oppose to cups. WIFI was brilliant. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was fast and fabulous and very reasonable.

There was a grey haired man at the door, he wasn’t very friendly and met him again in the restaurant and his manner didn’t really improve. He spoke with another girl to get me a table. I felt very conscious waiting because I hadn’t booked in for dinner as it was a last minute decision. I found the room not very soundproof I could hear people in the next room laughing and coughing and people walking in the rooms upstairs. A smart tv in the room would have been handy as there was nothing on the tv.

We had an excellent stay. The staff, food and service was amazing. As a motorcyclist we found a nice safe place for the bikes thanks to a gentleman called (Fish) he was so nice to have such a warm welcome off Fish as you don't normally get that when you ride a motorcycle.

Everything was perfect 🤣
