Meadowlands Hotel

Location was great, hotel was very clean. Radiator warm for towels . Beds were so comfy , Good breakfast , lovely seating area outside. Lovely relaxing lounge areas.

You could hear tank or water filling everytime someone showered or flushed very annoying . Our toilet had no much of a flush you b flushing few times. Our cards were not activated when we used first had to return to desk and she blamed me for having cards in my fone even though it was only matter of goin up in lift and had card in my hand .

ONE MORNING ALL WAS GOOD......................SECOND DAY BROUGHT TO SEAT.............AND THEN NO MORE........GOT MENU BUT NOT ASKED WOULD U LIKE SOMETHING FROM MENU??????? SETTLED FOR TEA AND TOAST.................OJ BIT HIDDEN.................AND GLASSES NOT OBVIOUS UNLESS U MOVE BEHIND THE BAR AREA...................NOT GREAT START................... HAS TO BE BETTER LAY OUT.................?? LOTS OF BUILDERS NOISE VERY EARLY ON SAT MORNING..................??....................CYCLE PEOPLE OVER TAKING CAR PARK TO REAR...........MIGHT BE NICE IF THEY WENT TO EMPTY CAR PARKS..................... PLENTY OF SPACES ONE MINUTE AWAY..........................SOME BODY NEEDS TO TALK TO THEM...............PAYING PATRONS SHOULD GET PRIORITY.....................FRONT AND BACK OF HOTEL..................

LAY OUT IN DINING AREA FOR BREAKY NEEDS SMALL CHANGES.......................SOFT BACKGROUND MUSIC MIGHT BE NICE.................BUILDERS NOT ON A SATURDAY AM................OR BE MORE SILENT............................???

The staff were just amazing. We travelled with 3 small boys 6,4, and just under 2. We hadn't booked a table in the restaurant forgetting about the big irish rugby game. No tables left. The staff moved everything around to accommodate us and see the game. The food was incredible. But the staff made it for us. As busy as they were they totally took time to interact with 3 runner around kids and make us feel so at ease. I couldnt recommend Meadowlands enough. Absolutely top drawer. We can't wait to get back

Staff fantastic. They helpful, professional and pleasant. Beds v comfortable and that saying something as I have a bad neck! The breakfast tasty and location pleasant

The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a generous seating area. Ample storage with good quality furniture and lighting. The breakfast was partially buffet with the cooked element ordered from a menu. Both breakfast and evening meal were very good. The best asset this hotel has is its friendly, cheerful and unflappable staff. They handled a very busy weekend cheerfully and efficiently. Thank you to the wonderful Gill who looked after us so well.

The restaurant was closed in the evening which meant the bar area was extremely busy and crowded.

dinner seating not good..............all too close together...................we were all put on raised area to left as one walks in..................plenty of empty seats down below us....................covid has made up all a bit mad..................noise in bathroom from pipes............like a horror film.....................plumber please call and sort out...............telly brutal.............might just need new batteries in zapper...........................................

Breakfast was fantastic, great range and the food quality and presentation could only recieve top marks. The restraunt itself had the most beautiful relaxing atmosphere, decor was stunning and staff where so attentive. Dinner we had in the bar and where totaly shocked at how amazing the food was, being in a bar we didn't expect the quality and size portion. My son had a tai green curry which was super tasty, we had a range between fish & chips and chicken supreme and I can't wait to return. Our room was beautiful, the Christmas decor throughout the hotel was just stunning, the whole hotel was stunning. And staff where so on the ball and friendly.

The staff were wonderful and friendly especially the evening staff serving food. Food was lovely. Hotel fabulous. Everything was spotless and spacious. This is without doubt the best four star we've stayed in for a while! Highly recommend it.

The price of staying was high but I will definitely come back. While the price was similar to other four star hotels it is a tad expensive. But that's an Ireland problem. It is the going rate. We've seen the price of hotels rise dramatically in the last few years.

size of room..........super...........bar area beautiful..........all staff were super............bar staff top notch............ food excellent...........covid steps taken everywhere.............nothing left to chance which bring comfort at this strange time in ireland and all over the world...........breaky so fresh and so nice....................again staff on the ball, friendly and pleasant....... loved the nice back round music at breaky ..other hotels please copy.............nice atmosphere...........

heating controls, need to be updated.............plumber needs to visit bathrooms..........water pressure way to soft/slow in wash hand basin.......and so noisey, like you would hear in the 60s............ bath , water power top class..............toilet needs bit of attention as well..................suction away not good.............. all can be sorted quickly by experience plumber..........nice to see new carpets going down in covid times.................re invest to stay top of the game in kerry..........well done..........loved bar area...........first class..................

The seafood chowder was v light on fish. Tried eggs Benedict at breakfast one day - poor - untoasted muffin has gone soggy, hardly any hollandaise sauce and it had been heated under a grill so was like a thin crust instead of a thick creamy sauce. Every other breakfast item was lovely, well sourced, tasty and hot so I think these were just incidental issues.
