Hotel Borgo Verde

The breakfast was delicious! We loved it! We had a patio with our room which wasn't included with our booking which was a great bonus! There were many cats which we could feed in the hotel area

We did have to wait for half an hour outside the hotel because there was no one at reception in order for us to check in. It was cold outside and no one was answering the phone number. They did apologise but that shouldn't have happened. There was no duvet, only blankets There were some ants behind the fridge in the room..

Beautiful property. Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly and lovely to see the cats in the neighbourhood being treated well when they visited the site. Loved the quiet of being away from traffic with parking on site. Would definitely stay here again.

Only glitch was the one night when a large family group stayed next door and kept being quite noisy till after midnight and the hot water ran a bit lower (warm) one night when I was just finishing my shower.

The hotel was a kind difficult to find and needs an update. The bed was good although it wasn't levelled. Nearly no possibilities in the immediate area to have dinner, as the hotel apparently did not offer this on Saturday and Sunday? Flushed some bugs in the shower.

Friendly concierge! The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The view from the breakfast room was into this garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was good and beyond a typical Italian breakfast with ham, sausage and cheese.

Parking could be better organised. It's a bit out of the city but with a rental car, it's fine. It was easy to get to and was easy to drive to the city center. I can't think of anything negative! My wife stayed here years ago and she liked it so much, she booked it for me to stay.

Not really sound proof, we got woken up easily by neighbours or outside the window a few times during our stay

Room very comfortable, plenty of hot water. Good choice of breakfast items but unfortunately very little for vegans. Parking on-site invaluable. Best of all were the staff, pleasant and very helpful.

We would have appreciated being able to dine in the restaurant but it was open only evenings Mon to Fri.

Good central location in Catania. Close to the city center. Good value for money. Staff was very helpful. Small room but comfortable. And you can park your car in their premises so that an A+.

Maybe it might need some small renovation. Other than that nothing to add.

We expected something more from breakfast, but it's okay. There are no sidewalks outside the hotel, so I would say it's pretty dangerous to walk from the hotel to center

Parking is kind of cramped, breakfast basic and the breakfast room looks like a shed of some sort. The hotel is located in a suburban area which is not that beautiful to walk around, however the metro is 5 min away and you can easily get to the city centre with it.

I liked the green environment, the location was great, it have good parking and the breakfast was delicious! I had would like that the pool were available, I hope that they fix it soon
