Hotel Villa Cibele

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were tourists so they helped us sort out excursions and tailored to our needs exceptionally. They also made it very easy managing a group of 20 students who were on this trip. In addition the hotel was less than a 10 min walk from the metro (Nullo station/ Cibele station), so it made it very accessible.

The beds could have been more comfortable, but other than that, I have no negative comments. Also, the breakfast could have had more variety.

Excellent experience staying at this hotel. Do not let the outside appearance fool you! The hotel was absolutely lovely inside, with beautiful, modern decor. If space is available (area is rather small and can't accommodate many cars), parking is within the property gated walls and quite secure and safe. Front desk staff was superb, especially Mattia, who was fluent in English and very, very helpful. I was very pleased with the lodging experience. My stay exceeded my expectations!

A few little things in my room needed attention, such as the curtain rails not functioning properly (couldn't open/close curtain properly), and one or two lamps needed some repair...but nothing that was inconvenient enough to tarnish my overall experience.

Everything I like there.. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable.. The staff and facilities services also excellent..

Only one thing I can't accept.. That is the location, because it was very difficult to came there.. If we ask about your hotel they don't know the hotel.. Only I had this problem I faced yesterday... Only these reason we came late... So please arrange this problem.. Apart from this everything was excellent..

The hotel is clean, has a large inside parking area (about 8 cars can fit), automatic sliding gate and pedestrian gate, has large rooms with fridge and a kitchenette included (but hidden by a rolling cover for people that do not want to see it). AC working perfectly. Personnel is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is basic, but good. Up the street, across the bus stop, there is a small park and a local bodega, with cheap beer, aqua frizzante and syrup beverages old style, friendly locals you can chit chat with, well, if you understand Italian.

The distance to the city center, but if you use a rented car, it doesn't matter.

Hotel Cibele is a great place to stay in Catania. the staff is extremely helpful, they even help you to book the good tours in Catania, the nearby cities and Etna. There is a wide choice of food for breakfast, and they are all delicious, especially the croissants. The staff offers parking in the private parking lot, another good point for the hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the air-condition in August is a must, it cooled down the room perfectly. The room is well-equiped, we didn't have anything to complain about.

Staff who can speak English stays for 24 hours. access is not so bad because you can use subway.

the temperature of shower in my room was unstable.

There was braille in the elevator and seem fit for wheelchair.

I would like that the hotel would have better access conditions such as side walks from city center and subway.

Clean and quiet, the personal it’s really nice

Its not close to the city center but it’s easy to park and accesible to move to the beaches during the day :)

Perfect staff, very nice and helpfull in every situation, hotel is near the Metro station San Nullo, near a supermarket, in quiet part of Catania, 15 minutes by taxi to historical centre, beach or airport. Tasty breakfast, private parking for free.

The staff is very helpful. Thanks all of you for making us feel at home. Surely will return. Specially thanks goes to Dimitri, Roberto and Yuri Grazie mille.
