When walking there, you think the B&B might not be located in the nicest area, but it's a very practical location to access everything in the center on foot. Then you enter the building and you have a bad feeling about the conditions first, then this goes away immediately once you reach top floor. What a contrast! Actually the "authentic" building even adds to the experience. Then you meet Cristian, who is one of the best hosts we ever met (and we met a lot!), someone who not doing this only for the money but enjoys working in hospitality business. The B&B has everything you could need, you have from beers to rental cars everything for your disposal at totally reasonable prices. The room is nicely renovated and equipped with everything for a city break or even for a longer stay. Breakfast has also a nice selection of options. Next time in Catania, we will not think even for a moment where to stay!

The hosts were the most pleasant and helpfull. Everything we needed,we had it. The room was always clean and tidy and the facility is close to the center, just a 5 min walk. I surely reccomend it!!!

A hidden gem behind big steel doors. It wasn’t obvious from the street but once inside it was great. The host was super friendly and having a chat at breakfast with a Polish couple and a German guy was a highlight. Once we discovered the lift and didn’t have to haul suitcases to the top floor it just got better from there. The hosts restaurant recommendation was spot on and given it was at most 150m away extremely convenient. Also very close to the Airport shuttle bus stop so easy to access.

Not that inviting from the outside but what a difference once you found the correct doorbell.

Location is perfect for staying near train station and city center. Shops and restaurants are nearby. Staff is perfectly helpful for every kind of information and assistance. Maps and advices for interesting places in the city center and the area around Catania are available at this very comfortable accommodation with super friendly staff. Felt at home although I stayed only for 3 days. Would 100% choose this b&b again for my next trip to Catania.

A lovely B & B / pensione run by 2 friends. Everything in the room was really nice. They also provide very useful information, try to answer all your queries (bus to Etna etc.). We didn't like Catania very much, but if we go back for Mt Etna, we'll definitely stay here! About 10 mins from bus/train stations and 10/12 mins from the tourist centre. Recommended a nice restaurant nearby after our Etna hike. Pretty good breakfast included.

It doesn't look great as you approach along the street...

Owner was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast nice and the AC and WiFi worked. The room in on the top floor but there is an elevator. I would stay there again.

Though not the fault of the facility, I had my baggage stolen from my motorcycle parked in front. Again, not the fault of the facility but my own self being lazy and not removing everything. Thieves had physically cut a steel cable which was securing the bag to the bike. Lesson, don't leave personal belongings in/on your vehicle.

The b&b is located located in a historical palazzo and our room had a beautifully decorated ceiling. It is also centrally located and within walking distance to many sights and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to visit. This will be our home whenever we’ll come back to Catania.

My hosts could not have made me more welcome. They took the time to speak in slow, clear Italian, instead of switching to English in frustration. They joined their guests on the terrace for a chat in the evening. My room was palatial. The premises is immaculate, and an oasis of calm in the chaos of Catania. It's an easy walk from the train and bus stations and from the centre of town. Breakfast was superb.

I strongly recommend this B&B. It is extremely clean and the room is very comfortable. The host is very kind and speaks English, Spanish, French...which makes the communication very easy even if you do not speak Italian. When I come back to Catania, my accomodation will be at XX Miglia again.

Cristian and Angelo are sooo super super kind! I hope that I can come again soon and they made the stay at their house immediately feel like a home. They’re really the best 😊 I will recommend this to all my friends and family and will hopefully stay in contact with them. Mille Grazie for being such a nice person 🤗
