Shower was good, air conditioning was excellent and quiet. The room was cleaned very well each day. Turkey sandwich served at lunch time was also very good. And the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast did not have normal milk for cereal. Instead only rice milk and another sour milk. And although the room was relatively quiet, music could still be heard nearby at night, and fireworks set off at 1am were very loud and woke me up.

Very close to the city centre. Very stylish interiors, super attentive hosts and excellent breakfast with homemade food. The room was very spacious with a naturally lighted bathroom.

Unfortunately, the room didn't have a balcony and the temperature was difficult to tune (due to the summer heat)

This is a lovely place decorated and furnished to a very high standard, right in the middle of Catania. Our room was a great size, with an amazing shower. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of the usual continental options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke great English.

There is a lift to the 3rd floor, but our room was on the 4th, so we had to lumber up a small flight of stairs with our luggage. As our room was on the 4th (the top) floor, it was very hot. There was air conditioning but it was not really very good. There was only a glass partition between the main room and the toilet, which made for not very pleasant morning ablutions(!).

Tucked away behind a discreet door near the Bellini Opera House, this hotel has a simple but effective design around a central courtyard with seating and herb boxes. Decent sized room with lots of plug sockets! Nice bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast in the lovely pitched dining room with a variety of local and traditional foods was great. Staff very helpful and good location 5 - 10 mins walk from Duomo & fish market.

Need hooks in the bathroom! Hot water in shower was a bit slow. Having both an electronic card and extra large key fob to get in was a bit fiddly.

The clue is in the title! I’ve been in Italy for nearly three weeks and I’ve stayed in 6 hotels, 3 of which are in Sicily. This has, to date, been the best hotel I have stayed in. My only regret is not staying for longer here! Whilst it’s billed as a 3 star hotel it really does offer more than a typical three star. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with high ceilings and mosaic floors. The bathroom is phenomenal with an amazing rain shower and the eco friendly toiletries are a nice touch. The breakfast was fabulous with an exceptional range for a continental offering. My only regret is not having dinner at the hotel (which is offered at an additional charge). The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. I can’t remember the name of the girl who helped me on check in but she was fabulous from arranging taxis to making helpful suggestions of what to see.

This is a small boutique hotel in the central part of Catania. Clean and modern rooms, delicious breakfast. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street and has an extremely convenient parking garage near the hotel, just outside the ZTL. Extremely friendly staff, perfect communication before our arrival and during our stay. They gave us a city map and answered all our questions.

We had booked two rooms, but both were accessed by staircase after using the lift. Not all rooms were located like this, so it is good to clarify in advance if you have a mobility problem.

The location of Hotel Habitat was simply unbeatable. Nestled in the heart of Catania, it allowed us to explore the city's vibrant streets and attractions with ease. The breakfast served at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. The restaurant itself had a super nice ambiance, adding to the overall breakfast experience. What impressed us most about Hotel Habitat was the transformation of an old building into this charming and stylish boutique hotel. The attention to preserving the building's historical elements while infusing modern design was commendable and added to the overall allure of the property. In terms of value for money, Hotel Habitat excelled. We can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Habitat to anyone visiting Catania.

Upon arriving late at night, we encountered a slight challenge with the taxi dropping us a bit far from the hotel due to the ZTL zone. However, once we stepped inside, any worries were quickly replaced with tranquility. Despite a karaoke event happening outside, the hotel managed to maintain a serene and peaceful environment inside.

Beautifully designed and very friendly staff. Delicious food in a nice setting. Great location with easy access to the city centre.

Some of the facilities clearly needs maintenance, for example the flooring is cracked outside the shower. Water also easily sprayed out of the shower area and became messy, likewise for the sink. There’s only one chair in the room, it’d be great if more chair/ stool/ small desk could be provided to sit around and do a bit of work. Quite hard to find when we first arrive late at night. Would be great if more information could be provided on website… like a photo of the entrance.

The hotel is well designed. Very modern, comfy rooms, right in the historic center of Catania. The area is very lively, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. During the day, cars are not allowed in the historic center, but there is a hotel parking just 150m away.

All were great. We stayed at the 4th floor, which does not have elevator so you have to use the stairs from the 3rd floor. This may be challenging for some people especially with lots of luggage.

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. The bedroom was very spacious with a gorgeous balcony, high ceiling, tucked away bathroom with a fabulous rain shower and bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. One of the staff came up to my room immediately on asking to work out how I could find the tennis on the TV and then later to deliver a breakfast pack as I had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight & was going to miss breakfast. There is also a fabulous restaurant in the hotel.
