We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk to the church square. The view is fabulous. Mauritzio was a great host; very helpful and quick to respond.

The kitchen facilities are basic. The apartment is probably better for summer when you spend more time outside, than the cold week in December when we stayed, but we were warm enough.

The balcony view of the Mediterranean was unbeatable. The residence itself is quite outdated, needs work (air conditioning didn’t function, however in our stay we did not need it, however good feedback for the owners) a couple of lights not working or dishwasher, but besides these minor flaws, the apartment was fabulous. As mentioned the view is really what you pay for, also the location is perfect, literally restaurants, bars, shops at your doorstep. Beach is 5 minute walk away. You pay for what you get, but I would 100% come back to this residence just for this view alone!! Thank you!

Not all functions worked, as mentioned, the air conditioner (they really should get this fixed as during the night it could get quite hot) dishwasher and lighting. The apartment is outdated and could do with a refurbishment.

We had a fantastic stay at MiraMare Residence in Cefalu. The location in the old town was great and within easy walking distance to everything. The apartment was spacious and clean and had the best sea view possible. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and communicated so well answering any questions we had promptly. We will definitely come back to Cefalu and definitely stay at MiraMare again.

The spectacular location facing the sea with balcony and in the center of Cefalu. Very quiet, the sound of the sea drowns everything. Very friendly staff. The terrace is nice, you can see the cathedral, but there is shadow only early in the morning and after sunset. Good for coffee in the morning, because then there is no shadow on the balcony. Since the terrace is very complicated to reach (narrow stairs), we did not have dinner there.

We felt a discrepancy between the quite high price and the sparse amenities of the apartment. There was only the most necessary (e.g. no towel for the floor in the bathroom, only a small mirror in the whole apartment, no sponge, dishwasher but no detergent, not even for the first day, smell of gas in the kitchen) - in total not appropriate for the price of a 4-star hotel. Furthermore it was a bit inconvenient that we had to pay in cash on arrival.

Location next to the beach and close to town, and the view

Difficulty contacting the owner, having to pay cash on arrival, poor facilities, loud street level apartment, weak water pressure, having to pay additional amounts for air conditioning.
