B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci Cortina

The hotel is located between two cities, which is very convenient for traveling between different sights, and trekking along different routes, but not very suitable if you like to walk along a noisy city street in the evening and sit in a restaurant. It is not far to go to the city, but the road is very winding and not easy, and this is not the kind of relaxation that you want after dinner with a glass of wine)) In this case, the hotel offers a veeery good varied dinner for an additional fee, we arrived in the evening and were very pleased with the dinner. The hotel has parking, there are only forests and mountains around, the breakfast is very good, the staff is friendly. Right next to the hotel there is a hiking track to Lake Sorapis. The room is well equipped but a bit small. Special thanks for the possibility of accommodation with a dog. The hotel is very pet friendly, the extra charge for a dog was only 5 euros. We traveled through the Dolomites and the Alps and stayed at 7 or 8 different hotels along the route, the B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci Cortina was the best and left the most pleasant experience.

The room was a bit small. Also we had a balcony overlooking the construction site, it was not very nice. But we booked a room just a few days before arrival, so we probably got the room that was left))

Clean, modern, comfortable, good shower, comfy bed, great location for several hikes including trailhead for Sorapis hiking (sentiero 215), free parking. Nice staff. This accommodation is located in Tre Croci pass, a little bit outside of Cortina (15-minute drive). Have stayed for 5 nights and opted for the half board package as there are only 2 restaurants nearby where you can eat. Even if I didn't like all the dishes, every time there was a dish that I really liked. For example, there were several types of pasta every evening and they were very good. So were the soups. I also ate the best oranges here.

window insulation. On one of the nights it rained very hard and water entered the room (room 302) on the edge of the window. Being summer, it was not such a problem, but in the cold season, it could be a problem.

Great value for money at this perfectly placed hotel. Lake Sorapis track right outside the door and incredible views all around. Also just a short drive to the Three Peaks walk and Cortina 10 minutes down the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful even if a little short staffed. Coin laundry system probably needs to be upgraded as 1x washing machine and 1x very slow dryer isn’t enough for a facility of this size.

Great hotel with the perfect location right in the mountains. Perfect base for the hikes in Dolomites, especially if you go by car. Half board was a great feature, vegetarian options are always available. The room with a view is absolutely worth paying a little bit extra as you get a balcony overseeing the meadow (with cows!) and mountains. Nice experience overall.

- Air conditioning was not working. That was not a problem for us as the weather outside was just perfect for sleeping with an open window but it could be an issue on a hotter day. - Parking is not overseen by the staff, so there are a lot of campers taking parking spaces, cooking their meals and sleeping right there.

Great location and views from the hotel were amazing. Main town centre was only a 15 mins drive away as was Lake Misurina. Tre Cime was a short drive too as was Lago Di Braies . All in all it was a great central location to the places we wanted to go.

The location is quite convenient, by car it is not far from the city of Cortina and not far from the main attraction - the itinerary around the famous site Tre Cheme. The facility is in very good condition and well maintained. Everything was clean. There is ample parking, adjacent to the entrance. There is an elevator. The staff is kind. Good value for the price.

We stayed 3 nights including breakfast and dinner. The food is not the best. At a reasonable level minus, no more. There was a decent variety, but to get poorly made pasta or cold soup after a day of snow-laden hiking in the mountains is disappointing. Too much salt and oil in everything. We didn't stay hungry, but there is a need to improve the quality of the food. It could be done with a little more attention, nothing more.

A family group of 12 (six adults, six children 10-16 yrs) stayed in B&B Tre Croci hotel’s four remodeled rooms (three per room), each with a private bathroom and shower. The multi- story remodeled building houses arguably the best valued overnight lodging with breakfasts and dinners available for reasonable rates compared to anything else found in the Cortina area. It exceeded our expectations. I challenge you to find something better priced for the services and amenities offered. The 15-20 minute drive to the downtown Cortina area is a small price to pay compared to the price differential to any other establishment; but make sure your automobile’s brakes are ready to go up and down the mountain. Breakfast was ample, nutritious, unpretentious, and offered enough variety for a range of dietary needs. The dinner offered similar varieties and quantities; however, no coffee is available during the evening meal. It is only available at breakfast. Ski lockers in the basement enabled secure storage for skis and poles so we didn’t have to worry about them in the car. The staff was courteous, helpful and answered all questions. Bottom line: I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation and recommend it to anyone.

Great location - only a short drive from Cortina but gave you a headstart to get to Tre Cime di Lavaredo before the crowds. Plenty of parking onsite and directly next to the trailhead for Lago di Sorapis. Room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surroundings. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Very minor thing but just a caution if you're there during a warmer time of year: there's no A/C so you'll need to keep the windows/balcony doors open at night and the cattle in the nearby fields have cowbells that ring out through the night. My advice: bring ear plugs just in case!

Friendly and efficient checkin, lot of parking for hotel guests. Spectacular views from the room (and bathroom) looking at the mountains, very comfy beds, no A/C but early August the rooms were very cool at nights if you open windows wide open (no bugs, but some street noise). Very good location, about 11 mins drive to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Included breakfast is good with lots of coffee options (all in one fancy machines). Right next to the entrance path to see Lake di Sorapis

Bathoom looks luxurious but a few minor problems - shower head doesn't stay in position and holder kept flopping down, toilet flush panel is out of wall, toilet flush so powerful that water splashed out of toilet onto your leg, one light bulb missing from mirror. Included dinner buffet just mediocre food- soup, 2 pastas, salad (lettuce, tomatoes only), cooked veggies or fries, 2 meat dishes (chicken, fish). Typical food for buffet style choices. One free glass of wine per adult - red wine is nearly undrinkable (very watered down). White wine is actually good. 2 desserts (cakes usually not good), and some fresh fruits (oranges, apples, peaches). No other free drinks for dinner available (only paid ones).
