Hotel Mirage

We have never experienced such a high standard of customer service, which was professional but also homely. All staff, without exception, were extremely attentive and showed great care. Special call out to Salvadore at the restaurant whose professional attention to detail and warm, welcoming nature made every breakfast and dinner a special experience to remember. We could not speak higher of staff at Hotel Mirage. The hotel's cleanliness was a 10 out of 10 and our stay was very comfortable. The room was spacious, split across two floors, and it accommodated our numerous suitcases and the four of us with ease. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We will definitely be back to the spectacular Dolomites and would choose Hotel Mirage all over again for its staff and comfort.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially the general manager, Graciela (sorry for the spelling) and the main Bar man , Antonio. They always had a big smile for us! The breakfast was quite excellent and the dining room staff were all very professional and kind (even with 2 youngsters). The hotel is an older one, but well maintained. The grounds for the kids (and adults!) were great and the views were spectacular. There is also a nice indoor pool but bring your swim cap! I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Cortina some day.

The rooms did not have AC but in the mountains the temps were comfortable at night with a window open. While our room did have a lift, the newer building where out kids were staying did not but this wasn't really a problem for them. This hotel is a short driving distance to town (about 10 minutes) so you need a car or make use of the hotel shuttle. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. The views and grounds make that unimportant.

This property is well-positioned right outside of Cortina. I liked that it was outside the town with very nice areas to relax. Wonderful views, green grass. The breakfast was excellent. In fact I had the best donut ever here but also some tasty eggs, bacon, and other sweets. The service was awesome. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pool, hot tub and amenities were all well-received especially after long days of hiking. All things considered this was a great value for the dolomites during high season!

The junior suite was a little tight for our family of 4 - with 2 teens. My bad for not getting the bigger suite. The pool, sauna, and hot tub had limited hours. It was nice that we could reserve to get some privacy, but it would have been nice to use in the morning or later evening.

The Mirage is a very nice hotel, nice staff, and nice facilities. It was everything that we had expected and more. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and good.

Two flaws to point out - the rooms are "dated" - and a little old-style. Nothing major here - just a taste-thing. The dinner at the hotel was not great value for money and didn't have a wide variety of choices - especially for kids. Better off eating in Cortina where the options are much greater and more cost-effective for kids. One last caveat - we were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator (and had big/heavy bags). Again - nothing major - just things to know.

Loved the tranquility of the hotel. The grounds are very welcoming and enjoyable. There’s easily accessible hiking paths to the mountains, as well as the town. My wife and I do not have children, but they do offer pancakes at breakfast for 5 Euros. The kids we saw really enjoyed them.

It you’re looking for formal dinners and traditional black tie service, it’s great. There are no dress codes or anything, but dining is NOT casual. The rooms and decor are circa ~1982. 330 ml beers are 6 Euros. No tap beers. All beers come with chips, olives and peanuts: Overkill in my mind, perhaps heaven in another’s mind.

We loved our stay and are planning to go back again! The kids were absolutely spoiled by the staff and hotel owners who happened to stay there for a family Christmas holiday. They organised a very family feel christmas with Santa Clause as a bonus who distributed gifts to all the kids, it felt like we were all part of the same family. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a formidable view. The food is excellent with attention to details and the Christmas menu felt very high end standard. The staff did not hesitate to give us tips on the region and family activities. We highly recommend it for an unforgettable snow trip to Cortina.

This hotel deserves all the best reviews! Great location, surrounded by mountains and has amazing views. Staff was very kind and attentive, they offered us aperitivo, you can also book sauna or jacuzzi. There is swimming pool and small gym available. Terrace near the hotel is so lovely to enjoy the views with aperitivo. Breakfast is another level of service, food and choice. The rooms are spacious and clean, have everything you need. Terrace has stunning views. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Definitely will be back.

We had an excellent stay here. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, the views are some of the best in the area with mountains in all directions, the location is quiet (except for Friday when there was a free music show until 22.30), the hotel is a short drive to town (also walks direct from the wood behind hotel) and the children’s facilities were a wonderful surprise. As well as the pool there is also a huge trampoline, table football, swings and hammock, toddler area with playhouse, kids velcro-darts etc, and from 5pm - 9pm there is usually a kids entertainer who plays games, does origami, organises football games or slackwire walking, etc. All free :) Staff were all lovely and very helpful, special points to Antonio who noticed when I accidentally ordered the wrong drink from a different waiter and sped over to doublecheck if I wanted to correct my order to my usual drink. Free cocktails and snacks at 7pm :)

I’d suggest the manager taste the breakfast coffees and compare them to the coffees served on the terrace - the terrace coffee is much nicer I don’t know why.

Extremely cozy hotel! Would return for sure.

The restaurant has nice food but is very expensive when compared to similars in town. And there is no alternative nearby. We felt ripped off every time. Not a good option for those without a vehicle. The only offer shuttled to the city, which is far from the slopes. A 30Euro cab is required for each way to get to the slopes. And there is no taxi driver available. For all the rest, excelent!!! Kids loved it too.

A worm and homy hospitality. Wonderful service. Great facilities for kids (pool, soccer courts,jacuzzi, trampoline, zip line). Reach and tasty breakfast. An afternoon aperitif time

The family room was OK. The shower was too small, and the upper gallery where the kids slept was too hot. No sinck out of the toilet, and the fridge was tiny. But, the room was big enough for a family of 5.
