Hotel Alaska Cortina

This hotel is in the center of Cortina and is ideal for walking to restaurants, shops and bars. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just OK but was a little slight for the price of these rooms. Adequate counter space in the bathroom but the shower was a little small.

The room has a separate sitting area with a couch, table with four chairs and the TV is in this room. It is very odd that the TV cannot be viewed when laying in the bed which is ridiculous for any hotel room. I had to pull the TV cabinet away from the wall and turn it toward the bed to even get a partial view of the screen. This is a very poor design. The parking at the hotel deck is $40 euro / day but there is a lot at the bus station about 5 minutes walk and is about $7 euro / day.

The mountain that has ski school was so far! Nobody in reception informed us about it

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful to accommodate the needs and finding the best room . Particularly Maurizio was such a gentleman and made sure we had the best stay ever … We were very impressed by the level service provided 🙏🙏

Great location in the city center. Excellent varied breakfast (rating 10!!!). Very kind staff. 2 spacious bathrooms in the room. Very clean.

I didn't like the furnishings of the room - too many different furniture tipe with no style. Definitely not a 4-star hotel for me. Parking fee in the hotel garage (which is also in the description).

The hotel was excellent and situated right in the middle of the town with good bars, restaurants and shops within a 1 minute walk. The rooms were massive and the beds comfortable. The hotel had a bookable underground car park that was very handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cortina is an "high-end" resort and everything was top $, but we knew that and had budgeted accordingly!

All the staff was amazing in every area and the location was excellent.

The furnishings were dated and worn out. There is no ice machine on the floors or coffee pots in the rooms.

Large double rooms had two bathrooms and a separate living area. Central location close to ski bus, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was excellent and the staff at breakfast were amazing, really great service and very pleasant

Perhaps lacked a little atmosphere in the evening as the bar isn’t enough of a focal point

Location was wonderful. Our room had a balcony with view of tower and mountains which was beautiful all times of day. We enjoyed our stay . Bed was comfy. classic Italian breakfast was great 730-930am. Staff was wonderful and helpful. very clean.

A little dim in entry hall of room. challenge to eat breakfast and make the 8am buses out of Cortina to hikes, etc

We are a group of Chinese Canadians and we really want to thank the front desk for helping us find the ski locker room and call taxis. In particular, the gentleman who was from Calgary was very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to meet a fellow Canadian here. 😀
