Hospitable hosts who gave helpful additional information about Lecce and local facilities. I therefore had dinner in a lovely fish restaurant and knew what the local specialities were, which I enjoyed! They arranged breakfast at the time I had requested and the appartment was clean and spacious. Excellent bathroom facilities were offered too and the central location of the Casa was great.

The bed has a protruding wooden frame of which 1 corner painfully caught me on my shin. I had been warned about it, and I subsequently draped clothing over it so the corner edge was more visable to me.

Great location overlooking main square. Breakfast order/delivery time taken when we checked in. Good quality breakfast, local pastries. Bedrooms at back of flat, so no noise from main square. Flat is in centre of city, so we knew we couldn't park near it - Member of staff who checked us in came to meet us, allowed us to drop of bags and check in, then took us to nearby car park .

It is a town house flat situated in a building with offices and a school. We were fine with that, but would have preferred to know before booking.

This place is amazing. Excellent location (very central but quite), extremely clear and a lot of space inside. The staff (the manager but also the rest) are great - helpful, friendly and supportive for any requests. I needed an adapter, and they brought me immediately, taxi reservations, airport transfer book - all was done quickly and effective. The breakfast is served in the apartment at the time specified by the guest. They provide tips and useful information about the town, restaurants, sightseeing.

Beautiful old commercial building with 14 ft ceilings. Lots of space. Comfortable seating. Great location overlooking the Roman ruins and the principle Piazza. Very helpful managers. In the centre of everything

It is a challenge retrofitting these old historic buildings. The kitchen was difficult and needs some refurbishment. A couple of simple improvements would be another light and some extra unencumbered surfaces. Maybe in compensation breakfast is provided but one of the reasons that we prefer apartments is so that we can make our own simple breakfast. Minor matters this is a superb apartment.

the property is perfect for a work trip, great Wi-Fi , space to work and self cater too. the air conditioning was great and particularly given it was over 30 degrees at the time! the staff taking care of the property are incredibly accommodating and helped me with travel arrangements to and from the airport and also to my work destinations during my stay. they were always on hand via text/phone to support. they event suggested jogging routes and places to eat.

Location location location + logistics. Mr. and I were very fortunate to have found lodgings at Casa Dei Mercanti in mid May 2022, right ON the Piazza Sant’Oronzo. Franzi and Sveva were very communicative, helpful, and easy to work with. Franzi sent messages through Booking.com initially. As our arrival date got closer we communicated through WhatsApp texts. It was great! He gave us very a detailed explanation with pictures for our arrival. He met us and drove with us in our car to meet Sveva who took us to our rooms. Franzi then took our car to a parking place for 15 Euros/day. Franzi and Sveva have resolved the issues related to driving and parking in the city center. They are friendly, easy to talk to and speak very good English. Sveva had a tourist map for us , briefed us on the high points and shared some favorite restaurant recommendations. Upon checkout Franzi brought the car at the exact time we requested. We checked out with Sveva and went to meet Franzi, smooth as silk. Our rooms were generously sized living/kitchen area, bath and bedroom. It was very comfortable. Our view was pleasant enough, other buildings, some with flowers blooming in pots on their balconies or rooftops. Breakfast was delivered to our door at the requested time each morning including breads, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, fruit and coffee. We felt Franzi and Sveva did everything they could to make us comfortable and feel welcome.

A very warm welcome on arrival at this ideally placed guest house across from the amphitheatre on Piazza Sant'Oronze. I was only staying for one night but it would be ideal for longer stays with the fitted kitchen, table and chairs, and TV in the suite. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean and so quiet. I awoke after a good sleep for breakfast, with plenty to eat, served in my room to enjoy before settling off to explore Lecce. Definitely recommend this charming place!

The location is excellent! The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, providing all the information we needed. They arranged a parking, as it is located in a ZTL area. The suite size is large.

I saw by the photos that the decor was not to my taste, but from the name I thought it would be a classic building, and not that the "historic" from the Fasci period. It's a strange building, but it ends up being practical because it has an elevator (I was not aware about the confusion os architecture styles in the main square). Breakfast is a little basic, which is normal for B&B in Italy.

We enjoyed the central location off of the main square. Our group could get together to cook meals. Really appreciated the heating system during the chilly spring weather. Very clean, and our host was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Being on the main square was great but there was some street noise in the evening (it was a holiday). We always travel with earplugs, so had no troubles falling asleep.

When in the heart of Lecce try this place for the best experience. Clean, spacious, full of options apartment. View to the Piazza outside is breathtaking. The host is a great person, he really helped us with a smile during a little complicated situation. Paid parking is easy at a modern location nearby. Fully recommend the place!
