Suite Hotel Santa Chiara

Breakfast good e location very convenient as it is in the city centre. I take the opportunity to say that the car left to the reception man to take to the car parking was screeched on the left front bottom corner and unfortunately we noticed it when we arrived in Bari. It was evident that one of your staff driving the car to the parking station tacked a kerb or low wall. Disappointing!!

Overall all satisfactory.

The location is excellent. Literally in front of a main square dotted with restaurants, laneways and bars, and in front of a major church that seems to attract tourists. the hotel has an old school Luxury feeling, but needs maybe a fresh paint job. The rooms were spacious and we had a room with a balcony that I highly recommend . The breakfast is served onto the rooftop that looks across the entire city and the food was good. if you have a car, which we did we parked right up the front of the hotel and the hotel took the car to park for us I. the garage for 18 euro per night.

The spa was not in use which was very disappointing, the gym is the tiniest I’ve ever been to and the rooms didn’t have nice soap or mini shampoo bottles, but instead little tiny satchels and the smell wasn’t great.

It was the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed in. The sheets were ironed and the pillow cases smelled like lavender. The breakfast was fabulous with tons of choices.

The door to our room made a loud squeaking noise when opened. There was no remote for the tv. We didn’t watch so it wasn’t a big deal but when we checked out they asked if we had taken it by mistake. Our biggest problem was the cab that hotel staff hailed for us to get to the station. The cab driver gave us a counterfeit 20 euro bill with our change. We don’t know if he realized he was using fake currency or not. We tried to notify the hotel using the contact info online but never got through. I presumed the hotel would want to know to avoid future problems of this sort.

I would stay here again. My room was best out of our group of 4 rooms. I just couldn't figure out how to block out the morning light from the skylight. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was beautiful. Bathroom was nice size. I loved having a key to turn in like the old days.

Shower too small with round door and magnetized latch that was a bit hard to open so came off the track. Hair drier not good for women. Needs USB ports in rooms. Wi-Fi wasn't too good and we had to login while on 1st floor. I gave up trying to connect in my room.

Besides the undeniably fabulous location….The 2 ladies who run the breakfast service were my highlight, so friendly and engaging - nothing was too much trouble.

As a seasoned traveler, I’m well aware that language can be a communication barrier but in general the front of house staff could take a tip from the 2 ladies on breakfast duty and give you a welcoming smile instead of a curt ‘you’re welcome’!

Beautiful hotel in the most perfect location to walk and see everything in Lecce old town . Plenty of restaurants with in a minutes walk. Room was huge! Beautifully decorated and had floor to ceiling windows which opened to over look the square and church, stunning! But still very quiet at night. Reception staff helpful and efficient. Took our car from outside the hotel when we arrived and parked it, back the next morning when we checked out.

Nothing , would highly recommend it

The location was great you are really in the centre of everything 15 minutes from the station too Our room was amazing very spacious and clean Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly We enjoyed our stay close to some great places in the same street you can eat fabulous pizza and meat balls very cheap fabulous

AC wasn’t great and when we stayed they were digging up outside and the electric went out

Building, location

Location is great but being in the restricted traffic area makes it difficult if you are with a car. The hotel offers a valet parking only until 8pm (and not particularly cheap). The closest car park is the underground parkejoo, which is a 15min walk, and quite expensive. I strongly suggest a clear warning is shown in a prominent position in the website.

The hotel is very Beautiful. We stayed in a superior room with had a great view of the town square. We got engaged and the hotel left of prosecco and layer out somethings I left on the bed which was just so nice of them . The staff are very friendly and so accommodating. And the breakfast was just so cute with a jacuzzi and nice view of the town . Can't wait to return .

I found no faults whatsoever.

Lorenzo concierge staff went above & beyond as did the lovely man who parked our vehicle each night. The lady in the roof top breakfast area Waa very pleasant & did an amazing job each morning.

Leaking shower wet bedroom floor, causing a slip. Dripping noise in bathroom wall keeping you awake at night.
