The property is nicely located in the centre of Lecce. The hostess is wonderful and very attentive. She made sure we didn’t lack anything. The room was cleaned every day. We had the room with the Turkish bath, which is in the basement. Unfortunately the Turkish bath didn’t function well. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated. You can park the car at 10 minutes walking distance from the property, near the university.
If you book this particular room, be aware that the room is in the basement and that it is more humid than average. There are dehumidifiers in the room, which are a bit noisy. It wasn’t an issue for us, but I write it down here, since I can imagine that this might be an issue for others.

We received every morning hot pasticiotti, cake and capuccini in our room. The host was really responsive and we could reach her on whatsapp. Very central location and quiet at night.
In the room we stayed, the shower cabin was extremely small and it had inner stairs to reach the bed which if eg. you would like to go to the bathroom at night, might become dangerous.

This was a really great place to stay for a couple of nights. The apartment itself was really nice, a downstairs apartment built in the rock, with nice arches and cool design/decor. Really large too, so lots of space also to cook and sit down for breakfast. The breakfast itself was excellent, we got a croissant and pasticciotto each, with coffee and tea available in the room (could do with a kettle to boil water). Location right behind the Duomo main square, beautiful building an really nice apartment. Hosts were delightful and helpful.
The apartment was downstairs so basically underground. What that meant was that it was really humid and fairly cold at night, so we covered up. It was OK in the end but I wouldn't stay for more than 2/3 nights. The upstairs rooms are probably better. A bit of noise too in the evening but nothing too bad.
