Hotel Roberta

Good location as it is only 5-10 min walk from Mestre train and bus station so easy 10 min train trip to Venice with regular train service. Big grocery shop just few minutes away. Room and hotel is very clean. Breakfast is decent and you have THE BEST breakfast attendant there Konneh aka (Alex) ! He is the sweetest , kind and most helpful , friendly staff there 😊! Thank you dear Alex looking after us so beautifully ! You are the best ! 🤗

It would be nice to have a kettle and basic usual selection of tea/ coffee included in the room as we needed to ask for it ! Staff were very attentive though to provide us one and also they fixed leak in our bathroom super quick too. So well done ! Walls are thin and hear neighbours and traffic passing if your room is facing to street but which hotel doesn’t…

helpful staff, great location near stations and some cafes, hotel is easy to find. the room is not a very new one but it was really clean enough inside, wifi worked very good all the time. shower worked fine. i'm glad they had some extra blankets inside room since the nights were a little chilly. there was a safe too and a fridge.

the bed was not very bad, but I wish it was not that soft maybe, I suppose the mattress has been used for quite a while. but maybe th softness is a matter of taste also.... I wish there was a kettle inside a room. my window view was into the inner yard which is not very interesting, but it's okay.

Nice receptionist. Everything clean. Room not large but sufficient. No luxury but perfect for the price. Wifi reliable. Good breakfast. Location 400 m from the main station where is all neded transport to the airport and Venice.

It seemed to me not so safe location after dark.

This gem of a place exceeded my expectations. Brilliant location if you’re intending to travel back and forth from Venice (which is only 10 minutes away from the train station located only a couple of minutes from the hotel). The food was as expected for a continental breakfast - I thought good value for money. My room was everything I needed for my short stay (comfortable, cleaned often, good shower). As a solo female traveller I felt safe. It was very convenient for my travels in and out of Venice. Also very friendly stay who ensured my stay was great! Couldn’t recommend enough.

I would note it is a noisy building. The walls are quite thin so you can hear a lot both inside the hotel and on the streets (I had earplugs so this wasn’t a problem). Breakfast area was quite small and often very busy during the morning which became a squeeze.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone. We had a really long day, and this was fantastic to come back to.

This hotel is 2 blocks from the train station, making it an easy place to stay while you're visiting Venice. The staff were friendly and quite helpful, lending umbrellas and chargers. The breakfasts were very good too, and the gentleman who supervised the breakfast room was meticulous and friendly.

I wish the breakfast room were a little larger.

This small hotel was quite nicely located in Mestre. We chose this place because it´s closeness to the railway station but away from the busiest streets. We did not stay in the room too much, we were mostly exploring Venice. The staff in the hotel were friendly.

I think overall the stay was pleasant. Unfortunately in May 2023 there was a renovation on the street under the window, but we managed to leave the room before the drilling etc started. So no real worries there.

Location was good and near to the station. Rooms are not very big but will serve the purpose and comfortable in terms of beds and facilities etc. The hotel is overall good value for money in terms of what you pay and what you get (Location/good rooms/breakfast etc.)

Nothing much in this category: But maybe they can add few more options in breakfast. And maybe you need to take one train to reach the Venice city (note: This is just a point but not an issue from hotel perspective)

Very close to the train station; Spatious room with cleaning done daily: Decent breakfast (but one type of ham and one type of cheese - no vegetables but pastry, fruits and yogurts); Had an exterior balcony for smokers (however a terrace would have been great);

We had some ants on the floor in the bathroom; You can hear pretty much every noise from the room (including snoring of your neighbour); Majority of the staff is foreign and had some troubles to discuss in english;
