Staycity Aparthotels Venice Mestre

Fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from Venice-Mestre train station - there is a path just along from the hotel which leads directly onto platform 1 of the station, meaning accessing Venice is incredibly easy plus its only roughly 5 euros return and trains are more or less every 5 minutes all day and evening. Hotel was clean, bed was comfy and rooms came with everything you would expect. There is a Spar supermarket just a 5 minute walk from the hotel which is great for stocking up the small fridge and reception were always incredibly helpful whenever we needed any extra tea/coffee/sugar or needed towels replaced. There is also a great little focacceria/bar just across from the hotel with cheap food and drinks, making it a great alternative/chilled evening compared to being in Venice. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this area for staying in Venice, we much preferred it to staying on Venice old town.

The fridge can be quite loud when you are trying to sleep, so I would advise bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Fresh and nice Apartment with Kitchen Amenities. Nice Smart TV, to sign into Netflix, Amazon , Youtube. Beds were comfortable. Great Location , and only 300 meters from Railway Station in Mestre

The Equipment of the Kitchen could be expanded, adding more cups, plates, kitchenware , and a regular brush. You hear weird sounds from the plumbing, when someone flushes or uses the diswasher in the other apartments above you. The Room was not very well insulated from all the Railway Trains noise outside.

The amazing manager Valentina she upgraded our room and were so nice and helpful I hope we could find managers like her in our stays in Italy.. and Rose a very nice girl that helped us much in our stay , our upgrading, our big luggage, our destinations. It’s location is special down the hotel u can find many restaurants open till late and it’s just beside train station and bus station.. all facilities are available iron , iron table , electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, hairdryer , toiletries, wifi , ac , laundry room ,i loved our stay .

Good no-nonsense accomodation. Large spacious apartment with quality appliances. Perfect location in quiet area and close to train/tram/bus station. Good variety for breakfast with hot and cold options and helpful staff. Large combo grocery/pharmacy/housewares store within easy walking distance. Secure building with friendly staff.

Bathroom could use a few more towels, etc. It seemed a bit sparse and I never like the low shower sill. Rain showerhead is nice. Laundry room needs work. A few of the appliances were not working.

> perfect location, very close to the train station (11 min - 1,45 euro to Venice St Lucia; multiple trains by hour) and the bus station to the airport (ATVO shuttle - 44 euro round trip to Treviso Airport), lots of restaurants and supermarkets near by. > staff was amazing, they provided all the info we needed and also kept our luggage before check in. > room was very clean, they even had the good toilet paper; you have a kitchenette with everything you need to cook if you want to, including a dishwasher.

room was not small by any means, but could have been a little bigger for a 4* hotel

We arrived after a long flight to the hotel, the receptionist kindly offered us an upgrade for us to rest more, and the room he gave is like enormous and we felt very lucky to meet such nice staff and management. The room was very clean and neat as my wife is normally anxious to stay hotels, she was very comfortable with the cleanliness of the room and the facilities inside. We definitely suggest for you to stay at this hotel if you want to visit. The bus stop to airport is very close like 2 minutes by walking. Venice Mestre station is also very close to reach Venice Santa Lucia it takes 2 minutes to walk there and 10 minutes to Santa Lucia by train. There is also a shuttle to designer outlet in Venice from the Venice Mestre bus station if you want to shop cheaper. The daily tickets are very useful and cost us 25€ each and you can use it all the public transports like bus, train, ferries inside Venice and ferries to the Islands.

Everything was perfect but we found that breakfast is a little bit expensive, it was 11€ per person. And when we look into the things served in the breakfast it is really not worth the price so we went to a pastry next to the train station and have the breakfast for 11€ for 2 of us.

Everything was amazing!! As an Aparthotel, it's essentially a little studio, with cooking and cleaning facilities, a bed, bathroom, and TV. It's comfy, cosy, and spotless. Very quiet as well, the walls were soundproof. There were more facilities available like a gym, but with the hotel being a 10 minute train ride from Venice, we were too busy to even think about using the gym. The hotel itself is in a great location, right around the corner from Mestre train station, on a strip with other hotels and cafes/bars, with a HUGE Interspar around the corner. The staff are all lovely and friendly, but I have to give a huge shout out to Omar on the front desk. He was always always up for a chat and was so happy to give us recommendations of where to go for drinks/food/groceries/spritz, and is overall just an asset to the hotel, he really made our stay excellent. Will definitely return when we visit Venice again in the summer. :):)

Nothing at all

Good location within 5 to 10 minutes from the railway station. Super friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. Despite the size, the apartment is rather comfortable to stay in and has almost all the necessary stuff. A large supermarket within walking distance. Baggage room where you can leave your stuff for any amount of time before the check in or after the check out.

Sound proofing could be better - I could still hear the passing trains, however they did not interrupt my sleep. An electric kettle would be nice to have in the room. A bit pricy for December.

From the very beginning our experience with the hotel was positive. They suggested a parking house for our car just down the street which although pricey was very safe and secure. The reception was friendly and helpful. The room, although compact was well laid out and well equipped. The hotel is just a short walk from the Mestre train station with frequent trains going into Venice (it seems to be 4-5 trains per hour). The train only takes 12 minutes and is very inexpensive at € 2.90 per person roundtrip.

the property was very clean and the front desk people were exceptional

The person serving breakfast has the worst customer service. She was on the phone with someone when we walked in and was irritated because she didn’t hear our reply to her question if we wanted to have breakfast. There was hardly any omelet left so I asked her if we could have more. She started raising her voice telling me that it would take her 10 mins to do so. I didn’t want to ruin my day so my husband and I just had a few bites and left. Hardly touching the buffet. I just felt that she was kinda racist towards us since we are Asians.
