Best Western Hotel Tritone

Extremely comfortable bed with all you can possibly need in a hotel room: toiletries, hairdryer, sleepers, bath robes, safe box, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Room temperature can be set up easily for cooler/warmer conditions. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options for any taste and friendly staff! Reception staff is also very helpful. It took us just 10 min to get to Venice itself by train.

Connecting to the Wifi required registration with a username and email but in the end didn’t work. Bottled water is not provided upon arrival.

The rooms (take a superior one, and ask for the first floor) are very nice decorated and sparkling clean.Breakfast was very nice at a decent price. A good choice if you want to visit Venice and you are in transit because the property is located just in front of the station Venezia Mestre, the price for the ticket to Venezia Santa Lucia is 1.35 euro and you can avoid the high prices of the hotels located in the lagoon, also you will not carry heavy bags on the tiny and crowded streets of Venice

We had to wait for 30 minutes because the room was not ready due to late check out

Venice was the first place to visit in our trip program, so we decided to stay in Mestre for cost efficiency, and especially at Best Western Tritone since it is so close to the train station, from where it takes just 10 minutes to Venice. Location is good for those, who plans to travel to the cities around. Staff is kind and professional. Check-in/Check-out is fast. You have everything you need in the room. Room is clean, but little small for triple. I liked a bathroom, there is both, bathtub and shower cabin. Breakfast is continental and Italian, very good. You should not expect luxury facilities. It is an ordinary-good four star hotel. Tritone met my expectalion.

If you're wanting to visit Venice and avoid the huge price of staying on the island, this is conveniently located directly opposite the train station and a hop, skip and jump to the bus that will take you to Venice. It's close to a supermarket, great Chinese restaurant and car hire place. It was clean, private and comfortable. Oh and the shower was to die for! Just great after a day of exploring.

The bed actually seemed more like a double than a queen. The rooms were quite small - but adequate. The breakfast was well stocked but I have to admit I miss healthy options - like whole grain cereals or baked beans. But that's more a cultural issue than a complaint!

We liked the bed, it was very comfy! Also, the shower was really nice, too. The check in was quite fast, we got the opportunity to store our luggage before entering our room, going out getting a coffee and waiting for check in. Unfortunately, the aircon wasn´t working at all. In November it turns into heating and you can´t change a single thing. It was really hot inside the room and we couldn´t open the windows, too. But we got a small recompense for our inconvinience, which was very kind. If you´re in Venezia a little longer than one night and you need a proper wardrobe, this room is maybe not what you´re looking for. There is a little bit of storage space for some clothes, but no wardrobe. The location next to the train station is excellent. You can reach all trains and buses to Venezia City center (isola di venezia) or to the airport and somewhere else easily. The breakfast was fine, too. You´ve plenty of options.

Hopefully they are going to change the automatically regulated aircon / heating. Having nearly 27 °C in the room wasn´t cool at all. A spider free bathroom would be nice, too :)

Best location money could buy! Literally across the road from the train into Venice. The breakfast was nice enough, the comfort was really good! Had a good peaceful sleep after long days walking around the city. The staff were very friendly and we felt really safe and happy to see someone always on the front desk. It was very very good value for money. Really wonderful house keeping too!

The room temp was a bit low, it was very cold at times so could have done with an extra blanket. Otherwise, it was nice and comfortable.

Very comfortable stay, staff very nice, room cleaned daily spotlessly, loved the bed and the bathroom. Breakfast is brilliant, all range of food and abundant. Special mention of the lovely staff at the coffee bar and delicious coffee one could have either there or from the automatic coffee machine. Hotel is placed closed to a range of good quality restaurants and just few minutes away from the terminals in Venice by bus, train (€1.50) or taxi. Aeroport easily accessible by bus, €10, and taxi, €35, fixed rates.

The train station and bus station were right across the street. Very convenient ..you could take the airport bus and walk to the hotel. As expected not the greatest area but wonderful restauant nearby Cafe Michaela ..we went twice. Beware of pick pockets...lost my wallet after 40 years of travel...breakfast was good .. we took day trips we it worked for us. 10 minute by bus to Venice island.

Room was small but had no place to store anything..no drawers...great bathroom...well lite...beds were very hard but they were at all the italian best westerns

the staff were excellent and the proximity to train and bus station made it easy to get to Venezia

my only complaint and I know it is not isolated to this hotel is the black mould in the grout in the shower and along the rim of the shower doors. it must be very difficult to be spic and span all the time but when the issue is as pervasive as it was in that room, it would make sense to shut the room down for a week for a deep clean in the shower area. I am very sensitive to mood so even the tiniest amount impacts me.

Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. The facilities were good. Our room was big and warm. There were TV and an electric kettle with coffee and tea, fridge, bath, shower, and all towels for bathroom, etc. The receptionist helped us to configure wifi, one should have used their default login and password, as our personal login for wifi registration didn't work out properly. The location is near Mestre central station, which allows you to reach Venice in 15 minutes.

Nobody told us on the first morning that we were in the wrong breakfast room, where the food was only sweet, but as soon as we finished breakfast and left the room, we noticed there was another room with a normal continental breakfast. The wallpaper saw its better times. Wifi worked somehow slow. We were 3 adults, but there were cups and glasses only for two, also tea and coffee only for two people. The receptionist promised to help us to get the third cup and other items as the third glass, coffee, and tea, but he didn't.
