Hotel Ibis Milano Ca' Granda

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was really nice. The staff was extremely helpful we could leave our baggage on the last day in a closed room. They provided us with everything we needed! :)

There was a bath instead of a shower, which was a little unhygienic, would prefer a shower, also our room had no window view, we could see a rooftop and the hotel's air conditioning machines, which resulted in us having closed windows and blinds the whole time.

The staff were very accommodating to us considering we knew very little Italian - everything throughout the stay was made clear by the staff at reception, the janitors did a very good job with cleaning the room, and staff members also recommended a very nice local restaurant for us on our first night. The hotel is close by to the metro which made getting around Milan easy. The beds were surprisingly comfy (single bed) and the curtains blocked out the light well.

There were often young adults loitering around the area and the tram seems to run at night which sometimes made getting to sleep a little more difficult. The hotel seems to be linked to the Novotel next door (i.e. staff seem to wonder between the two buildings) but this connection wasn't really explained to us during our stay.

Location is good, quiet, far from city center but the Ca Granda metro station is very close to it, less than 5 mins and from there you can go everywhere very quickly. There are restaurants, laundry, supermarkets and banks close to Hotel. Room was typical Ibis room, comfortable, clean, normal size, safe, no minibar, bathroom had a bathtub which was great and a hairdryer. Room was cleaned everyday and towels changed. You can leave your luggage there for free before check in time.

Room should have a minibar. Ibis hotels usually do, I was surprised this one didn't have. The elevators were dangerous, even if you put your hand on the door to hold it so you can enter with the luggage, the door closes no matter what, even with your hand there which is very, very dangerous. First time in my life I see an elevator like that. They should definitely change this system. The elevator closed on my luggage, it was very hard to get my suitcase unstuck. It can close on someone's arm or hand. Receptionists were not friendly which it might be normal for Italians. Not rude but not friendly either. They don't look at your face and never smile.

The hotel is a short walk away from the subway station leading you further into central Milan, the staff are lovely and helpful, rooms are a decent size and there is lots of storage space for your luggage, as well as a common room type area with a coffee machine and vending machine. Ibis hotels in general are very reliable and this one is no different, a good stay for sure.

There are really no complaints about this hotel, if you are looking for a more upscale experience then Ibis hotels in general are not the ones to pick, but this one served us very well.

Close proximity of metro and some local shops - airconditioning - comfy beds - bidet - generally clean - friendly staff, easy check in/out - quiet area, no noises from the street - ironing room available

Not soundproof, could hear cleaning staff in the morning smashing doors - card system to enter the room was quite often malfunctioning, sometimes requiring 5minutes of trying - bit outdated room and furniture - price was a bit too high for what we expected - toilets need some more attention

The check in was smooth and easy. The room was clean and being cleaned daily. Everything worked as expected. The bathtub was a nice touch. The breakfast was great in both quality and diversity.

There are posters all over the hotel advertising breakfast until 12 o'clock. In practice it was more like 9:30 when they stopped serving it. No problem for us, but maybe those advertisements should be taken off.

Everything. The room was warm in the cold winter. The bed was nice. The staff was friendly and kind enough to give us hot water when we requested. It is located only within 5 mins walk from metro Ca Granda (purple line). The best part is they allowed us to store our luggage for 10 days for our trip and we stayed here again for another 3 nights after we completed our trip. 👍👍 A convenient store is only across the street.

Nothing. I just hope they provide a kettle in the room

Room was great, a good size for the money. Nearby bakery had incredible food. Staff were quick to support with an issue with our initial room which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this Ibis to friends and family.

The location was slightly inconvenient for traveling into city centre, especially as both the tram and the bus that were intended to travel to the hotel were following an alternate route on the dates that we stayed.

Excellent and relatively quiet location near the metro station. The hotel and the room itself were in very good condition, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of food. This was our third visit to an Ibis hotel and we have always been satisfied!

From the outside, the hotel building looks a bit gloomy, especially at night, but it has its own charm :) The surroundings of the hotel are a bit neglected.

The reservation was for me but friend decided to join, i spoke with hotel about him My flight got delayed but at least friend could check in without problems. We didn't really needed anything special from the staff so overall was good, room cleaned everyday

The bathtub and shower were very high. It felt little awkward and little scary to get out of it
