Best Western Madison Hotel

Booked the triple room and the room was large enough for a couple. Walk in wardrobe was a nice touch. Location is located within walking distance from main train station in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is continental with a variety of food available. Staff Hussein was helpful and friendly.

The toilet had a urine smell which comes and goes. The bed were quite hard and the big bed was actually made up of two small beds joined together. Room walls were very thin thus my request for a quiet room was not met. The air-con/heater controls were not working properly (could not activate the heater function). Called the reception but the technician was not able to rectify the problem.

I was overly impressed with the bathroom cleanliness and most importantly for me the attention paid to the supply of the bathroom stuffs from the very clean towels to the bathrobes to the sanitary bags to the floor mats, I will give that a 10/10 The staffs was friendly and willing to give a helping hand.

The Air condition did not function well in room 24. There was a smell at the beginning of the corridor to room 24, not a very bad smell but there was a whiff till we checked out and it was just there not in the rooms or other parts of the hotel.

Hotel was very clean and one of the first things we noticed when checking in. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had an incident where we left a couple of important items on our bed before leaving for the day (wedding ring, AirPods) and the cleaning staff didn’t realise when doing laundry. The gentleman in reception (regrettably didn’t get his name) was very quick in assisting and contacted someone to check the laundry room and the items were found and returned 10 mins after reporting the issue. Couldn’t have asked for much more and helpful staff. All the staff were great and friendly with our 2 year old daughter as well. (Same gentleman as above as well when we checked in was very friendly) Location great and just a short 2 minute walk from central station. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and variety. Defo recommend staying here.

Hotel is located in a quiet street, yet close to the central station. In addition, there is a bus stop right there for transfers to the airport. Room service was daily, keeping my room always clean, plus daily supply of tea/coffee. Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help. I very much appreciate an early check-in.

Sound isolation between rooms, as well as with the corridor is not good. scaffolding on the building, but luckily no renovation works were performed during my stay.

This is right across the central station in Milan so if you will be taking the train a lot this is your hotel. The lady that greeted us was so accommodating when we arrived even offered us some coffee and helped us with our luggage. So very nice first impression. The room was of a typical queen bed hotel but we have a window view of the magnificent church right next door. Bathroom was modern with a shower and bidet of course, toiletries, towels and hair dryer provided. You can also cast your phone to watch your netflix on the tv. Wifi was good and of course housekeeping was great.

-The hotel location was super convenient, it takes you around 4 minutes to get to the central station where you can take transportation (trains) to any place or even early buses to the airport -The staff was helpful and nice. They were polite, respectful and very friendly. And they spoke several languages making it easier for everyone. - The room was big, well-distributed and very comfortable. - There were several toiletries available, everything you would need and more

- The staff offered to pack our breakfast for an early flight, we left the hotel at 5 am. This was very kind of them. However, the content itself was disappointing, we received 4 packs of jam, 2 sachets of Nutella, crackers, a bottle of water and an apple. For the price of the breakfast, we were expecting at least a sandwich or a croissant.

Room was fine. Location is good after you get there. I arrived in Milano Central station and many people asked me for money. The staff was excellent. Some of them speaks my language and he was very nice. The room is small and the bed was also small but was OK. Theere is subway station closer and better than Mila Central (SONDRIO).

Have a better bed. Breakfast with more kind of fruits. The TV has limited number of channels. I think that all the rest of the facilities are OK:

Clean, comfortable, quiet and close to Milano Centrale which makes it easy to travel around Milan & other destinations. It was nice to have a kettle in the room (not the norm in Italy) and relax with a cup of tea! Cleaning staff are polite, always greeting me in the corridor.

Not a lovely neighbourhood - as expected when it’s so close to Milano Centrale. I’m a solo, female traveller and didn’t feel comfortable walking around at night (like most cities around the world).

The hotel was very close to the Milano Centrale as it was just 5-6 mins walking to this station. The staff were really helpful and very resourceful! The reception staff checked me in early as I arrived way earlier than the regular check-in time. The restaurant staff were also very helpful when I required anything! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable too! Great stay! They also provided with free sparkling and still water everyday for my 3 night stay! Also, the toiletries provided by the hotel were of high quality and was varied! Highly recommend to stay here as mine was a really comfortable stay!

Nothing really! Wish could have stayed longer!

The place is perfect if you are going to Milan by train as it's right next to the station. It's a nice hotel. Nothing extra ordinary but it has everything you need.

It seemed a little pricey for the size of the room, but I guess that's Milan centre prices. Also, the hotel was doing some renovation so that outside of the building was covered in construction materials – that would have been a good reason for a small discount.
