Hotel Mayorca

Very helpful, friendly staff. The room was also nice, although small. The beds were clean, comfy, and there were extra pillows. The blanket was a bit thin, but the room has a thermostat and at night it got quite hot The bathroom was clean, the towels too. The included breakfast was buffet style, with a lot of sweet options, not as many savory, so it was a miss for me but my partner enjoyed it (it did have salami and cheese). The coffee was amazing Overall, a wonderful stay at a fair price. If you want to walk to the city center, it's about a 30-40 min walk, so not that far. The neighborhood is nice, quite, and it has a supermarket and a bus station close (2 min) I am pleased, and if I come back to Milan I'm going to stay here again!

The toilet flushes in a strange way (to me) but other than that, I have no complaints!

I have stayed in the hotel with my friends for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful - after a very long journey, we have found bottles of water in a small fridge. The weather was not nice - on the first day it was constantly raining. We were cold and asked the receptionist for hot water for the tea, what we have received without any problem. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful.

The only problem for us was the lack of a kettle in our room, but we got hot water every time we asked for it. The location was not bad, but getting to the city centre took us 20 minutes by train or by bus.

I liked that it was clean and that the money paid was commensurate to the quality.

First day there was a man at the hotel who was friendly and welcomed us. Then in the evening he was replaced by another person that was not so friendly. I didn’t see the sign that we have to leave our keys to go out. And for a moment I thought he got very angry with me. Maybe it wasn’t his day but a little bit unprofessional. Contrary to the description there wasn’t flat screen tv at least not in our room. There was only a very small monitor which was practically unusable.

The location of the hotel is very close to both the airport and the city center. You can go to the center in one go by bus number 54 from the vicinity of the hotel. Buying a daily 7.60 Euro ticket is valid for all other vehicles.The hotel was suitable for the price balance. Rooms were clean. The staff was attentive as needed. A small hotel. Old but everything is usable

I did not like the breakfast, I guess not only me and my wife, but also other guests. There was little choice but everything was very sweet. Cultural difference I guess :)))

The building is not modern but stands on it’s feet for a purpose. Small but safe elevator, door keys with heavy molded metallic will remind you of those movies where keys are handled to a receptionist, when leaving. Room was small, with shattered window that can’t be opened but i guess it’s better to leave it close, as view from it may worsen your experience. Shower worked well, providing you with just right amount of hot relaxation that may instantly put your head on a pillow, after exhausting 7km walk from and to Milan centre.

Room was a bit dark because of window shuttered tight. Other then that i guess it was a balanced selection for a given cost per night (50 €) against quality

Our stay was only one night. It was worth the money. I liked the bathroom, the shower was hot and clean. We had shampoos, shoes wipes and soaps being packed. We had a fridge in our room. The bed was king-size and had clean bed sheets. Big window to get fresh air and watch outside. The supermarket is close 2mins walk You'll have to get bus number 54 or 91 to Milan Centrale. We had a tv, wardrobe, safety box, hair dryer and mirrors.

The lift was small for 2 people and our luggage. You have to get a bus to go to the city centre. It takes 45 mins to walk. Breakfast was expensive over 17 euros. We didn't go for it.

We walked to the room from the city and it was a pleasant 40 min walk. The reception person was amazing, polite, spoke good English and made us feel very welcome. The room was HUGE and incredibly clean, good quality bedding and a superb mattress. We never tried the tv or anything as it's not something we use but there was one available. There was a free safe, lots of hangers for clothes. Everyone was nice and friendly. There was a lady helping with breakfast which was great. No fuss no nonsense, just a good little independent hotel in a quiet side of town. The restaurant nearby is great as well so that's a little free tip for future guests. Would stay again, absolutely

The bathroom could do with improvement particularly the ceiling but not major. Also the lift could do with better signage but to be frank I'm just being picky because it wasn't a problem

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mayorca. First of all we loved the fact that there are many shops and coffee places in the area and it is safe to walk around in the evenings. Another great thing is that the bus stations to all the important tourist attractions are at a distance of a 5 minute walk. (bus 54 to Duomo and bus 91 to Gare Centrale) We totally recommend this place and will definitely check in back when we visit Milan again in the future🙏🏻

Hotel was clean, comfortable staff were pleasant, hotel served the purpose, close to transport links and was easy to find Good value for money, simple & traditiona l if you just want a clean room to sleep and shower - it's not WOW but I'd stay again.

Area felt safe enough just a bit run down but a few minutes walk to transport links into the centre

Very clean if a little dated, towels and bedding were immaculate. The staff are very friendly and all have good basic English, but are happy to help with your Italian if it's as bad as mine !

The breakfast is a little sparse, basic ham, cheese, pastries and coffee and juice. However, it is only 7 euros per head so not bad. The pillows are poor but they're happy to provide extras if you ask.
