The staff at the reception did their best to ensure the comfortable stay. Cleaning is upon request, but when we saw the room next door being cleaned we asked to take out the rubbish and change the towels and they did it. There is ham and sausage and cheese for breakfast. Coffee machine works well. Juices are yummy.

VERY CLOSE distance to the station, literally the train was passing under the window. SO when booking had to find out if the room window looks out over the railway or is on the other side of the building, but I didn't. And that was a mistake

Everything was perfect. The personnel was so helpful. I Both travel and work remotely. I needed a quiet place to work, and when I asked them if there was a quiet space where I could work, they instantly helped me and provided me with a wonderful place. You can find personnel in the hotel 24/7, which is very helpful for some people. The breakfast was wonderful. There is also a cafeteria where you can find something to eat 24/7. The room was very clean. I would definitely recommend Meininger Hotels to everyone who is looking for a great hotel to stay.

Everything was wonderful.

The location is excellent. Its close proximity (5mins walk) to a metro station is a big plus. I like the enclosed carpark facility and it ensures no break-ins to the car - another very good point even though it costs €15 per 24 hrs. Additionally the location is only 8 metro stops away from the San Siro Stadium making it really convenient to get there and back. The breakfast spread is not fantastic but at €9 per person, it is a bargain. Last but not least, it is only a 15min walk to China Town ! Getting to the hotel by car is easy.

The only thing I find a little disturbing is the small emergency light LED status in the room which is fairly bright once the room is darkened.

I travelled with my teenage son for the Monza Grand Prix. We arrived later than anticipated due to flight delays. On arrival the gentleman on reception was very friendly and accommodating and got us checked in and to our room asap as we were exhausted. The room was as expected, very clean, it is basic but it was exactly as advertised and expected. The whole hotel was really clean. We didn't get to use any of the facilities as we were up and out early each day and back late and ready to get straight into bed. The bar, dining area all looked great, they also had games area with pool table and driving simulator. There is a communal guest kitchen where you can store items in fridges and prepare you own food, this is quite big and is kept locked so you have to request a key from reception. The position of the hotel was perfect for getting to central Milan, the Metro station was a 5 min walk and then 2 stops to Garibaldi main station where you catch trains to anywhere you wish to. For us it was a 15min train ride to Monza station, where we then picked up a shuttle bus to the track. All in all i thought the hotel was perfect for what we needed, although it is "no frills", the staff, cleanliness, decor and overall feel was great for what we paid. Would highly recommend.

I thought it was just as described, there was nothing i would suggest could be improved on. If i was to be really picky, an extra pillow and a bigger towel, but I'm sure if i'd asked at reception they would have accommodated. We were just too tired to be worried once we'd returned from a 12 hour day out at the Grand Prix. :-) Had we'd had 3 or no pillows we would have slept!!!

The hostel is really clean and modern.

Тhe hostel gives more the impression of a hotel. It's modern, clean and has good facilities. There's a nice common area that includes a bar, lounge, board games, a pool table and even some arcade games. The dorm room is tidy and cozy with a really spacious en-suite bathroom. Two towels are provided and are even changed every day. The ho(s)tel is well connected to the city center. Breakfast starts early (at 6:30 AM) and I liked the variety of options.

The bed was quite narrow, certainly below the standard width. The lockers could've been bigger and you should bring your own padlock. I also didn't like the fact that, in addition to the city tax and added breakfast, I was asked to pay an additional cca. 10% more than the price indicated on the website at the time of booking. The receptionist wasn't able to explain to me what it was for.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the austere yet modern design of the hotel was quite appealing. The staff's friendliness added to the overall positive experience.

My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The noise from passing trains was incredibly loud due to our room's window facing the train tracks. Despite requesting a double bed, we were given small, separate beds. The room resembled a private hostel bunk, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep on any of the nights I stayed.

Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, and had GF bread available, good WiFi, clean and comfortable rooms. Great price, and good transport links.

Due to the train line, you are quite cut off on one side. Good access to Metro and bus, but not much locally for dinner etc otherwise, unless you walk 30 plus minutes. The train line obviously has trains- which can be noisy if you have your windows open- air con is available so could close windows and use that, trains did not appear to travel overnight- so this time was quiet.

Great place for a school group if you're on a budget. The staff was incredibly nice and always helped us out, even though we could be a problematic group. The rooms are very simple but pretty comfy and very clean. The breakfast is not bad. The location is great: 10-15 min by tram to the Duomo or you can take a metro virtually anywhere. The walk from the public transport is quite short.

The single beds are very small for a somewhat bigger person. The rooms can get noisy at night, especially if they face the railway or if they're located close to the elevator shaft.

Lovely sunny room with a nice bathroom. Staff very friendly and quick to resolve an issue we had with a locker in the room. Exceptionally clean kitchen which was mostly well equipped. We were able to check in very smoothly late at night and store our bags free of charge after check out.

Kitchen needs to be restocked with bowls and cooking utensils, they were very limited. Dish soap was not refilled. Location not especially nice but the hostel felt safe.
