Piccolo Hotel

Friendly staff. One night. I asked for a kettle and they gave it to me without question. Достаточно хороший завтрак.

Strikes in Milan are a big problem. The hotel is not in the very center. The metro did not work (in the evening of November 10). We, after the opera, and other people, for various reasons, found ourselves hostage to the strikers in the evening. Even the tram (number 19) suddenly refused to move. The tram was full and people were running from stop to stop. Other empty trams passed by. And without Italian the announcements are incomprehensible. The taxis were all busy. It’s not easy for tourists, since, unfortunately, we had transport strikes twice.

The staff were polite and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, there is no broken furniture. The place has a mixed feel of modern and old. All the lights and electronics were in working condition. Value for money. The place has good connectivity to public transportation. Trams and the metro are available within walking distance.

The bathing area in the washroom is small. The reception staff was annoying when we exceeded 5 minutes from the check-out time. (We took around 7 minutes) So be sure to check out on time. The bed Linen had few hair strands.

I have booked a room for family coming over to visit, the staff is friendly and the room was nice and clean. A plus for the 24h front desk comes in handy. The area is great and close enough to the center. It can get a little noisy on Piero della francesca street due to many night clubs and restaurants around but overall a good experience!

Good stuff, the room was okay and very clean. The breakfast was delicious.

There is a club close to the hotel which was very noisy at Friday night. And somebody push and pull the furnitures all night long above our room so we could not sleep well :(

Friendly staff. There is a fridge in the room, although no microwave. Room was clean and reception is 24/7. Breakfast was great, I especially liked the nutella croissants. Housekeeping was nice. Good value for money.

The AC was a little loud and sometimes you can hear water in the pipes. Infrastructure a bit old but works okay. The TV was a little patchy. In the first 3 weeks of august, most of the restaurants and shops around are closed, so it was hard to find food.

I only used the hotel from after midnight to 9 am. Large single room, bed ok, bedsheets clean, hot water, good wifi. What else do you need for few hours?

There are many dead flies stuck/killed on the ceiling probably from the summer months. I do suggest that you get the ceiling cleaned. It does not look nice / clean place.

It allows late check in

When I have checked out reception guy asked me to pay €4 city tax, which is not fair, I have booked another accommodation same night just 5 minutes walk from there, I did not stay there because I did not like that place, but they did not charge me €4 city tax, so this is not a good service I don't know whether this hotel policy or it's just that receptionist was clever with me.

The location was great and we really enjoyed the neighbourhood. The room was very clean and staff were friendly.

Was a bit noisy at night and very warm due to the central heating-there was no way to regulate the temperature from the room itself. Rooms could do with a slight upgrade.

A few days ago we returned from our holiday and we would like to express our gratitude to the whole team. They were all very polite, radiant and made us feel at home. Sanitary measures against COVID-19 were strictly observed. It was one of our best vacations and we would rest here again in the future. Many thanks to the manager of the hotel for his wonderful attitude towards us. The room was high class and very clean, lots of space. The bathroom was perfect everything was perfectly cleaned and shiny.

Not sure why this hotel isn't higher rated. Good location, friendly staff, pleasant interior and basic rooms. Breakfast was really good. Way above average in Italy, with coffee, tea, cereal, meat, cheese, fresh fruit and more. Overal very good value for money.
