Hotel Cavour

The staff were very responsive and friendly, and spoke to me in English, which I appreciated. The location is excellent, I walked everywhere and saw what I had planned to see, and it was very easy. The front desk provided a paper map, so I didn't have to use data. WiFi was excellent.

The room was in an odd location - up some stairs into a small unlit vestibule in the building. It was a bit difficult to enter with a backpack on and a carry on, I had to use my phone to light up the key/lock (actual key no card) as it was hard to see. The room was a boutique type, small but functional (no bidet), and no card to work the lights. A/C worked very well, however the water could have been hotter.

An authentic family—run hotel at a convenient location (center, train station, supermarket), a big room with a small refrigerator, some English speaking staff with Monika being exceptionally helpful with ideas and suggestions, nice breakfast, good value in a low season.

Depending on a day it could be somewhat noisy: a music from a restaurant nearby ( on Friday eve) or in a room on one side (depending on the guest). However, the street overall is quiet, as it is parallel to the Main Street.

the staff is cordial, nice and competent! they are available to meet the needs of the customer. they really helped us a lot to find the venue and suggestions about tours and beaches the parking just behind the hotel, free of charge ! the location is super central ! the room was equipped with all amenities (frigo as well) and furnished with a nice taste! nice breakfast as well, from 7 in the morning! The venue doesn’t have beaches but they lent us a breach umbrella throughout all the stay!

The bathroom was a bit small. There is not bar for beers/wines at the hotel !

The hotel was in a good location, close to bars and restaurants. We only stayed one night. The staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was ok and could be take in an outside courtyard.

The room furniture was a little tatty and the aircon wasn’t working at first. The fridge in the room didn’t seem very cold. The hotel seemed a bit tired but is ok for a short stay.

Breakfast - eventually no continental ones with either croissant or dry sandwich but normal choice of cheeses, salamis, hams or sweet choices as cakes, pastries and what my kid loved, Chocapic or Corn flakes.

4 people in a triple room but that's issue of Booking.com algorytm which was showing 4 people occupancy by booking (was assuming for 5y old kid would be a supplementary bed) but I will address that to booking.com directly. Not issue of the hotel. Additionally the booking.com app showed kids 0 and 5 instead of confirmed booking 5 and 7 ...

location was right in the restaurant and shopping area on cobblestone streets of Olbia. high ceilings in room. parking on site was wonderful. air conditioner works well. breakfast room was indoor/outdoor and started at 730am. No fruits. Bathroom had some mildew smell but was clean. furnishings very tired and older style. staff were very kind and helpful. I would recommend for location, value and staff for historic center of Olbia.

The hotel is basic but super clean, decor is nice, has air conditioning, staff was so nice from reception to breakfast, and breakfast was really good. It’s such a good option for the price and is really well located in the centre of Olbia. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Olbia

the only thing that could be improved is the breakfast, excellent coffee and croissants, pain raisin, etc but no natural juices and not good at all.

Everything was really clean. Housekeeping every day. Bed was comfortable, room spacious. Shower was great. Location was ideal. Everyone was very friendly.

Very noisy, but expected that from buildings in Italy. But other guests are really loud in the early mornings and even at night. Too bad they weren't really considered of other guests trying to sleep.

Central, affordable, earlier checkin possible, 24 hour reception. And very very clean, every evening you return to a perfectly cleaned room , I can't say enough good things about the cleaning staff. Nice lady making the breakfast in the morning. Comfy bed. Air-conditioning.

Only 2 things - you can hear in other rooms and hallway, for me not a problem but more sensitive people should be aware. And the second thing which I really would have wanted is a mini fridge/minibar where to put some water to keep cold.
