The rooms are really nice and it is located in the center of the city. The place is clean and the breakfast is included. Even though Palermo is a very hot city during summer, the rooms are air conditioned.

The breakfast is served on a small buffet where someone is always on top of your head checking what you select. To me it feels uncomfortable and I would prefer not having anyone checking on me. Also the variety of food could become better with more things included. For example no eggs, sausages or bacon was available which is usually very common. The water in the shower has very low pressure and you also have to wait a long time for the hot water to become available (2-3 minutes sometimes). Being in Palermo in the summer you use the shower really often so this should be fixed.

We booked B&B Carella at the last minute as our flight was cancelled by an ATC strike and we had to arrange two more nights accommodation before our rearranged flight. The early checkin time (from 1130) was much appreciated as it meant we could walk from one place to the other and not have to have the bags with us for five hours or so. The B&B Carella is a wonderful place to stay that is in a central location, easy to get to any part of Palermo and beyond. Room was very comfortable, shower was excellent, and it was really quiet. Despite us only really booking because we needed to find somewhere very quickly, we feel really lucky that B&B Carella had a room available for us, and it was very reasonably priced considering the amount of people needing to book rooms due to the flight situation.

The renovation of the space was really well done. This is an old building which was renovated, looking modern but at same time preserving some of the history of the building. Although there is no elevator, the b&b is located in the first floor so it wasn't nothing special to go up by floors. The breakfast is good enough. The size of bedroom and bathroom were nice and the bed comfortable. I've enjoyed.

The "terrace" was 1×1 meter with AC from the apartment above pouring water to our terrace.

Wonderful welcome from the team, everyone was very warm and kind, showing us the main attractions on arrival. The early check in was very convenient as well. Our room was huge and very comfortable, with lots of light and spaces to store our stuff. The location is also unbeatable with all of the sights and great restaurants within 5mins of walking.

If you're a light sleeper, get a room facing the courtyard as the street can get quite noisy.

Props to the cleaner, one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in and made immaculate every day. Great location, comfortable and lovely decorated room. Breakfast was good and staff were really sweet and kind.

Would have been helpful to have more staffed hours and just a little more availability for recommendations/help, but staff were really kind and pleasant when there.

the room was lovely and perfectly located for getting about, it was very clean and the hot tub was a lovely touch, the bed was comfy and you had everything you need, there was a great view of the bustling street. with a lovely little balcony. the staff were really friendly and informative which was great for a first visit to the island.

there was a lot of street noise but it is expected with the location and something we actually got used to and didn’t notice as much, it’s definitely a place that never sleeps 😁 the kitchen area was literally outside our door but would of been nice to have a little kettle in the room with a couple of cups

V comfy room and although it was in a central location in a busy street, v quiet and serene at night. The atmospheric coloured lighting in the shower was a nice feature, and so was the free filtered water so we could top up our water bottles and avoid contributing to plastic pollution which is everywhere in Sicily. Delicious oranges and mandarins for breakfast from our hostess' garden were also a highlight.

B & B Carella's room was just like they promised. Everything was clean and comfy. Sweet breakfast was better than we expected. The whole Staff was so nice and helpfull if needed. Perfect location for us; walking distance for many main attractions and restaurants, car rentals and bus-stops nearby. We spend a great 10 day holiday in Palermo! Everyone was very nice and helped us with any problem or question that we had. The room was clean and had everything we expected. The location is amazing, right next to the old part of town! The breakfast was also fantastic! I would definetly recommend this place to anyone coming to Palermo.

The shower was very tiny! The bathroom was good though. We had a very nice balcony with a place to sit down but the view was overlooking a side street that wasnt in the best shape. But otherwise really lovely B&B!!

The breakfast food choices were limited and most of them were sweet.. the bread was mass produced sliced and I would have really enjoyed fresh bread. This is just my personal preference. Coffee and service were fabulous
