Hotel Tonic

Very good location, and good large size of the rooms.

We booked the room 2-3 months in advance, expecting to get a room with balcony as all rooms above ground floor have balconies. Arriving at midnight, we were assigned to a room in ground floor, with only a small window, very dark room. Why would the staff not offer the arriving guest as good a room as they can, it was obvious that the hotel was not full. This is not good service! They informed about breakfast, but did not mention that this was not included in the hotel price, then offering a 50EUR bill at check-out. We are of course willing to pay this, but would nice to get this information in advance.

Great location. Lovely historical building. Very clean everywhere. Comfortable room. Minibar, free Laptop safe, Valet stand, en-suite bathroom and Tea and Coffee making facilities in our Executive room. Wonderful value breakfast buffet. Large selection of sweet and savoury items. Homemade pastries. Delightful staff throughout the hotel. Fantastic value for money for an excellent 3 star hotel close to shops, bars, restaurants,Theatres, Hop On bus, Airport Shuttle bus, supermarket, historical sights and markets. highly recommended.

Hotel Tonic accommodated the mobility limitations of my 94-year old friend. Our ground floor room was big and comfortable, with lovely high ceiling. Breakfast was very good. The staff were excellent. Location was very good; near Teatro Massimo. All nice and clean.

A bit of road noise at night.

The location is amazing, the rooms are very clean, the stuff is very helpful! They would give you all the information you need, they even printed documents necessary for my travel, they help with the taxi booking, they showed me where I can get the bus tickets from. The room was very big and well-maintained. They allowed me to check in a bit earlier and didn’t rush me to get out, as I needed to stay longer than the normal checkout. Mauro, the owner, is always ready to help! I felt like being at home, I strongly recommend this hotel To everyone. 5* Excellent! I will be back for sure once I’ll go back to Italy!

I liked everything!

Professionality of staff, cleanliness. We arrived after midnight and we were greeted in a friendly manner. You feel immediately that the hotel management and staff care about quality. Also, the hotel has a pleasant and nicely renovated lounge with an electronic whiteboard for business discussions. If all entrepreneurs in Palermo were like the owners of Tonic, Palermo would be a paradise city.

- The AC is probably too old so it is quite noisy when running in the night - Even the windows are soundproofed, the noises from the street can still be heard (guess this is unavoidable when living in the city centre) - the bathroom can be renovated: the drainage in the shower is slow; they put an ugly orange pal in the room

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, safe for female solo traveler, great value for money.

The room felt a bit dated, and the lighting was a bit dim. The aircon unit was a little noisy.

The hotel is in a good location. The rooms are big and comfortable. I had a very good stay.

If you open the window there is some noise outside, although it was not too loud and you can sleep well.

I stayed several times at the Tonic Hotel. Great staff, perfect central position close to the main attractions and restaurants. I did breakfast the first time and there was a great selection of sweet and continental food

The building is stylish and very nice. It might be noisy cause it is in the central of Palermo

Room was very clean and some nearby parkings (1€ per hour) available. The hotel is in a good suburb yet not far from most of the attraction sites.

Bad sound insulation. The air condition in the room was very noisy. The bed was old.
