A pleasant little hotel with a good value, comfortable room with efficient bathroom. Location is excellent for the city centre and restaurants. However, see comment below about noise. Breakfast is good but also see comment below about the busy times.

These are only minor niggles: because of the hotel's excellent city centre location, it is also surrounded by bars and restaurants. At weekends particularly, they attract noisy crowds Unfortunately, they can be also be heard in the bedroom and their enjoyment is shared until very late. The breakfast room is small and can get crowded easily so choose breakfast time!

Hotel Button is just a few blocks from the Offices of the Municipal Government. It is on a tiny street off a lovely shopping street with little automobile traffic. Behind is a network of even smaller small streets which have a mix of workshops, restaurants, bar and shops all serving the local population. My room was compact and absolutely quiet which is good for sleeping. Staff was welcoming and useful

While not unusual the 4 steps down and then 4 steps up between the elevator and my room where the arrival surprise with my mid trip heavy suitcase!

Location was very good. We parked in one of the suggested underground parking areas about 10 mins walk away. Only a short walk to the Duomo and nice restaurants. Breakfast was very pleasant - nice coffee, cheese, meats, boiled egg, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc and delicious pastries and cakes. The room was fine but a little dated. Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff.

Parking away from the hotel was not ideal but, having registered the number plate, drop off and pick up of cases would have been possible. Room was a little basic. Shower and washing facilities were good but the room itself was basic - no easy chair, coffee facilities, water in room itself. We did discover that we could request water from reception and coffee machine was available all night when bar and reception were not staffed.

Large room, air conditioning actually cools room, good water pressure on upper floors, clean. Staff exceptional. We were restricted from only access by police barriers because of political event in main square. When daughters walked to hotel and informed them, staff walked to police barricade and arranged for police to open them for us. When we got to hotel and informed them that we had been driving for an hour to access hotel by another route, they sent the police our license plate number explaining the situation, otherwise we would have received numerous tickets from remote camera footage. Highly recommend this hotel.

Parking ability quite inconvenient with underground paid parking about a ten minute walk away. With over 20 driving vacations in Europe, Parma is absolutely the worst driving experience of any trip. The medieval streets are mostly one way which most maps do not identify. Motorcycles, bicycles, cars and pedestrians both forth around blind corners everywhere. These are, of course out of the hotel’s control.

fantastic location. nice well appointed bathroom. nice, helpful staff. cute public decor, handy that there’s an extra bathroom on the floor for guests. The room had an AC unit and a TV. we enjoyed watching Italian TV. they held our luggage for a couple hours on our last day. we got the room for 4 and it worked out well. room had a desk and closets with hangers.

the AC didn’t work that great so we ended up opening the windows. if it’s super hot you may notice it. there might be noise outside at night but that’s the cost of the location. they put out espresso but only at night and remove it at 7 am.

I loved this hotel. Although modern, its also very quaint and almost has a retro feel to it, a bit of character to it rather than just being a standard hotel full of IKEA furniture. Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Location was perfect as its in a small back street within the pedestrian zone in central Parma and around the corner from one of the main piazzas (Garibaldi) - ideal for exploring on foot. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. 15-20mins stroll from the train station. This was my first visit to Parma & I'd definitely try and stay here again if I'm lucky enough to find myself back in Parma in the future.

It was right in the centre of town, very easy to get around. The staff were really good and helpful. The breakfast was good, not as good as we have been having in our 4 weeks travel around Italy/Europe. It was, though, a more traditional continental breakfast, as there wasnt any boiled eggs or toast only bread. In saying that, it was still a good breakfast The room and bathroom were great, a really good size and very comfortable. There wasn't any coffee/tea in your room, but they had a cafe downstairs in the foyer/sitting room that you can order some from at no cost.

We had to drop off our bags and then had to go to paid parking about 900mt away.

The staff could not do enough for us. We explained our flight was delayed and the hotel Whatsapped us to say no problem they would have someone at reception to check us in. We were in Italy for a sports tournament. On one of our days we needed to leave the hotel by 7:00 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. our lovely receptionist Valentina had the kitchen staff make up a box of pastries and sandwiches to go. Which they didn't have to. It was just all the little touches the hotel did that made our stay amazing. On the first night our room was above a busy street, we asked if it was no trouble could we move rooms. Valentina also accommodated this, nothing was too much trouble for her. Hotel button always puts the needs of the guest first to ensure you're comfortable, whether it's recommending somewhere locals eat, to helping you find a taxi. I honestly can't praise them enough. We will definitely be back. The hotel was spotless. The beds are really comfortable. The room is equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was delicious. Cold meats and cheeses, fresh croissants filled with a variety of pistachio paste, creme patisserie or chocolate. They cater for all dietary requirements. It is definitely worth a stay when visiting Parma.

nothing apart from a little bit disappointed with the breakfasts. we felt although there was quite a selection the staff kept you at arms reach and we found it a little disappointing things were not easy to acquire. they seemed very unapproachable and you felt a little guilty asking for the things you wanted as though it was too much trouble or you shouldn’t be asking for it even though we had paid 9 euros per breakfast each. also at night there were drinks available in reception when the bar was closed but only tea or coffee without milk. not good when you want a decent cup of tea or coffee with milk. water was also available.
