Hotel Bonazzi

Hôtel Bonazzi is a family run business and the welcome was warm and very helpful to us as a Nana and grand daughter travelling together. I thought I had lost my credit card and the owner walked with me to the police station. The location is perfect for access to Perugia centre . Breakfast is served with a smile , mainly cake but very tasty , fruit juice , coffee/ tea ( they made my grand daughter a hot chocolate 😊) soft cheese and biscottes, jams/honey and Nutella.

The parking next to the hotel is very expensive , you can drop off in the road outside and stay for an hour . The nearby car park is best to leave your car for cost.

The caretakers are extremely warm and welcoming. They provide a fulfilling breakfast every day with a smile. The rooms are cleaned on a regular basis.

Once I returned at night to find out that there was no water running in the faucets. The supply was resumed the next morning.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of town where most of the historical sites can be found. It is a very modest hotel with large and clean comfortable rooms. The staff are warm and friendly, assisted us in bringing upstairs our very heavy suitcase, and gladly provided tips and information about Perugia.

I booked at Bonazzi expecting the room to be airconditioned as specified on their list of facilities but there was none. This information must be corrected at once! Be aware also that there is no elevator and there are 3 flights of stairs to climb til you reach the reception.

small hotel, family run, they were always on hand to help. No air conditioning (exceedingly rare in Italy), but the owner found me a fan for the room. Large rooms with very high ceilings, in an excellent location just steps from the main piazza. Very ample breakfast.

WiFi just couldn’t stay connected, even with an extender. Not bad for a single nights stay, would have been hard for anything longer.

The staff is friendly. Rooms were clean and ready on time. The position of the hotel is very good, near the most of the visit points. The breakfast was delicious and they made it earlier for us so that we can catch the train to Florence.

We did not like the fact that it was too cold in rooms, not only for our girlfriends, but for us too.

Great little spot run by an eccentric but endearing couple. Good value in the centre of town. TV was on the blink but that was part of the charm. Breakfast consisted of almost exclusively of cakes, great if you’re Marie Antoinette.

It would be trite to quibble.

Breakfast is pleasant. Cafe:cappuccino with croissants and small tortes.

I liked everything about the hotel, staff, and location. The hotel advertised they are at the escalator but they don’t mention it is a 15 minute walk involving several flights of stairs and six escalators. Parking is E20 a day.

The location was really nice. verry close to the city and easy to find! The breakfast was great! a lot😁 the owners are really nice and friendly. I slept like a baby. I will recommend it

The shower is small. But for me is a shower is not that important as long it's clean.

Centrally located, which is excellent for visiting the city during the day and at night. Close to many restaurants and felt very safe in the area. Staff is very helpful.

Breakfast starts at 7.30 - late if one has early trains, but many cafeterias in Italy open early. Hotel breakfast consists mainly of sweet items.

We were extremely satisfied with the services, accommodation and location of the hotel. We will definitely come back here.
