Hotel Napoleon

Napoleon is a nicely located hotel, if besides. RIMINI you plan to visit other cities in the region. It is few steps apart from the train station and San Marino bus operators. Rimini city centre is reachable in a short walk, the beach is also within walking distance. The hotel itself is an old fashioned one, the enterior dates back a few decades, that provide a special atmosphere and charm. It is a bit like accomodating yourself in an old Itálian movie (from that Golden age of Italian cinema) . The rooms are relatively big and causy, they also very clean. Our room was a bit off the main road and traffic, so it was not noisy at all. A nice breakfast is provided with delicious fruits and a perfect espresso to start your day. On the top of it, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere makes you feel extremely welcomed as a guest. I abolsutely recommend the place, we hope to come back!

A welcome caffe and pastry was well received. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. My room was a large room and it was quiet. My shower was good. The air con wasn't great but it was OK. WiFi signal was a bit weak but it worked. I was probably a long way from the router. Convenient for a nice local park, for the train station and, for the bus to San Marino. It is a short walk to the bars and restaurants at the sea front. There is a well stocked convenience on that road too, just a few metres down from the railway line. Breakfast was nice too with good hours and the check out time was generous (12 noon).

It's old fashioned and a bit dated but some charm and charisma comes with that.

The breakfast is typicall Italy style and I was satisfied it. The bus to San Marino leaves in front of the hotel entrance so the location cannot be better for someone who plan to visit San Marino. You can buy the bus ticket near the hotel. I suppose the hotel staffs would help to get it.

The water was leaking from the shower head.

Very close to train station, good for our train connections. Interesting collection of Napoleonic period lead soldiers in the breakfast room. Apparently, the owner is a keen collector. The lady at the breakfast room was very nice, the selection was sufficient for a good breakfast. Hotel has a mid century 60s retro vibe.

The arm chair in our room was torn on the arm, it looked very old.

the location is convenient to train station, bus to San Marino, and 10 minutes from the beach.

the AC in our room did not work. we were told there were no other rooms. However, Phillip made phone calls and ran around getting information and put us in a room that had AC. He was excellent.

Nice and clean hotel room. You really get a large room even for the smaller ones. Perfect if you’re travelling to San Marino as the bus stops right in front. A/C cooled my room down lots which was good due to the heat outside.

Dated hotel and could use some renovations

The staff has been very nice and friendly. It’s hard not to love this hotel. A warm, polite, quiet, nice place. You want the vintage vibe? You come here.

The heater is loud when it’s working in the room I stayed.

The staff was super nice and very responsive. The room was very spacious and clean. Great location between the beach and the city center. We had a good rest there, and will definitely be back.

The only thing we missed was an outdoor table or balcony which they could provide at rear just for a cuppa or glass of wine

Location and staff were excellent. Breakfast was very ordinary which should improve in choices

No kettle in room. Bathroom could be improved specially the shower and tub.
