Hotel Il Papavero

The ladies at the hotel were very friendly, patient and attentive and made me feel treated like family when I was traveling alone in Rome. The room was fully functional and was cleaned and organized daily. The area where the hotel is located is safe and quiet, it is close to the metro station and Termini train station, there are also restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to come to Rome.

The person who received us right from the moment was so helpful, we had to rush to the Colloseum as our flights got delayed. She handled it so nicely and guided us properly. We reached on time only bcos of her timely help. We travelled many cities in Italy and language is a problem but I always feel if you have the inner voice to help someone language is never a problem in any part of the world. The hostess fits this so well ..she spoke to us in simple language but her honesty and willingness to help is worth mentioning. We felt welcomed, warm and could trust her guidance.

Th staff is very friendly and they let us leave out luggage after the check in so we could be in the city!

Literally outside my window down the street there was a public trash can, and it is a GLASS trash can so you could hear the bottles braking when people passing by throw them in there. And I’m the early morning it was the worst, MANY people went to throw away many bottles

The staff of the hotel was incredible and kind, they look forward the client. The rooms are great and clean. The hotel is located in a great area near restaurants, stations and other hotels.

Room is large . Location Excellent close to Train station and restaurants all around the hotel . Bathroom is little small and we have to wait few minutes to get the hot water.

We expected a hotel in a walkable distance to the city center, room that is clean and comfortable for sleeping there (as we always left in the morning and came on the evening). That's exactly what was provided. Was the room quite small? The furniture wasn't brand new? Maybe...so what? The room was good anyway. We enjoyed our stay!

There was only a fan in the room (no AC). I usually don't mind, but it was 37°C in Rome when we were there and it was really hot. Maybe when the weather is better, the fan is enough.

Mnogo mi se dopada sama lokacija, tj. kraj u kojem se nalazi hotel. Soba je bila slatka, čista i uredna. Ono što mi je veoma bitno je da je krevet udoban i da sam mogla da se odmorim i naspavam. Žene na recepciji su divne i veoma srdačne, sve pohvale za njih!

The staff were very helpful on arrival, even giving us a fantastic overview on the best routes to take around the city when sightseeing, it was very much appreciated.

The mattress is smaller than the metal bed-frame, which caught my shin at about 4 in the morning when returning from the bathroom!

Very polite personal. Great location! The owner and the lady from the reception are wonderful, always helpful and responsive. The cleaning staff also very polite, nice and helpful. Authentic Italian atmosphere.A great thanks to all the people that take care of this place. Recommend it!!!

The Location of the hotel was close to the Main train station and I could go anywhere easily, a lot of good restaurants were around, and the staff was very friendly.

The room was a little cold and there was no Washing Up Liquid in the toilet for washing hands
