Booking House Roma

Our room was big, clean and comfortable. We felt safe during our stay and we were able to walk to all the big attractions/locations. We got the metro to the Vatican which was easy and close by. We were able to leave our luggage before checking in and after checking out which was super helpful on a city break. We slept well during as the street/ block was quiet and the room is very dark. We also got alot of toiletries and snacks on arrival which were greatly appreciated.

The padlock on the luggage store didnt work but the store is behind the apartment main door so didnt feel too unsafe.

The location is near down to the most attractions, not to mention the metro, bus stops, and Termini Station. Even the historic Diocletian Baths and the Roman Museum are just walking distance. Even if you didn't see the staff, save the cleaning guy, the communication was through Whatsap, and they were very helpful and even surprised us for the Holidays with nice treats like a bottle of wine and a panetonne.

I can't complain about our staying there. The price was reasonable with the amenities.

The property is clean and spacious with the amenities that you would expect from a central Rome apartment. The bed is formed of 2 single beds with 1 double sheet to make it a double bed, there is both a thin sheet and a duvet provided allowing for the best of both worlds. The room was cleaned each day and was done to an excellent standard. The location is perfect being no more than 10 minutes walk from the Termini train station, and no more than 2-3 minutes from the nearest shops and restaurants.

The property was quite dark however we did know this before we arrived.

Comfy bed - firm, but I like that - and it was clean and well-kept. It also had a (very small) elevator, which is better than most of these sorts of places. We had an issue with the air conditioner leaking water, but the owner got it fixed on the same day, and we had no more issues - nice service there. The breakfast was simple (a voucher for a pastry and drink at a bar just down the street), but it was tasty.

The bathroom arrangements were strange - I kept bumping into the shower taps and changing the temperature, and I'm not sure why the toilet bowl would sometimes light up. Also, watch out for the added fees - there's a city tax of €3.50/person/night which you need to pay cash for, which isn't included in the booking. Even in the booking, it was odd to pay a towel fee, then not always have the towels changed. (It never got gross or anything, just annoying to have that as a separate fee.) There wasn't much space in the room, but that's fairly normal for places in big cities in Europe.

This place gave me the feeling that I was constantly taken care of by someone extremely nice, gentle and tactful, without being intrusive or illogical. It started with great communication (I received a detailed explanation and several photos when I asked if there was a kettle). The room and the hallway were super clean. There is a handy fridge/tea/coffee station for three rooms, complete with teabags and coffee pods (even decaf, what a great surprise!). There’s a nice CONAD supermarket nearby. Location is perfect, street is quiet. Guys, thank you very much!

Although the room was small (as seen in the pictures), there was enough storage. Staff was *exceptionally* nice! Everything went very smoothly, they provided all necessary information in time and we were able to store our luggage on our last day. Location is close to Termini, where a lot of buses can bring you to most of Rome.

The breakfast was in the bar down the street and included a coffee and croissant. Nothing wrong with that, just did not expect it. The bathroom was a little dated, but that's Rome I guess - they kept it clean and towels and linen were always fresh and clean!

Easy access to the train station and metro. Reasonable walking distance to some of the usual main attractions (Spanish Steps/Trevi). Great selection of biscuits! Very good for the price.

A couple of wood lice in the room but nothing drastic, a few moving floor boards but didn't affect us but someone did pinch our water from the communal fridge!

The room is super clean and very comfortable, accommodation is near in the tourists spot 20-25 minutes walk to fontana di trevi coliseum etc . Have near good restaurants super market . The host is always present , even we only communicate via WhatsApp and the online check in have easy . Free coffee and snacks . And they allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage the check out date . Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Location is really convenient and relatively close to both bus terminal and city centre which makes it easier to move around city attractions. My apartment had everything I could possibly need for a one night stay if not more. It was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Water flow from the shower was a little inconsistent at the beginning first 10-20 seconds but later it was ok.

The location was amazing. Also the communication was great. The bed was very comfortable and they change our towels every other day which we appreciated.

The bathroom was not very clean (the toilet and the shower) and there was mold.
