Crosti Hotel

Hotel is not a big one and very easy to get there from the Airport. It is accessible to train lines which can connect you to major tourists attractions in Rome as major attraction sites are along the metro destinations of Battistini-Anagnina (which you can board from the Repubblica Metro station). I particularly liked the location as it gave me the opportunity to walk around and explore the streets of Rome like I wanted. It is also very easy to locate from the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino). The hotel staff I met at different points in my stay (Giovanni, Germano and Valentin) were all super helpful in booking tours, describing directions to planned destinations - most importantly, they were all very friendly. I arrived Italy in the morning time so got to the hotel before check in time, and was allowed an early check-in at no extra cost (this is based on request beforehand and availability at the time of arrival). I stayed in a single room which was not so big but was very comfortable for relaxation and sleep. Hotel is also close to a number of restaurants (Italian and non-Italian) - the choice of food to try will be yours :). Another striking hospitality shown was providing breakfast pack for me as my departure flight was early, so had to leave before breakfast - truly an appreciated measure! I will definitely stay here again if/whenever I visit Rome again!!!

Good location close to Termini train station and short walk from the historical center. Good buffet breakfast and really helpful personel. In general okay value for money you pay in the busy season.

Cleanness in the room- at first seemed really clean, but the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned or was badly cleaned after previous guests as there were hair which were definitely not mine.

The front desk /receptionist staff were excellent. They went the extra mile with warm smiles. A special thank you to Germano. Your kindness will not be forgotten. The breakfast team was awesome. The room was spacious. Quiet during sleeping hours. A mini market, 2 eateries are across the street. Termini a few blocks away. What an experience!

Towels on the bathroom floor doesn't mean hang them up to dry. Room wasn't swept, bed not made. Except for replenishment of soap and toliet paper, space felt neglected on most days. It isn't good when you smell a towel and realize you used it the day or days before and it was on the floor. I had to pick up a temporary cloth from the discount store a few blocks away. That place was a life saver. Anyway it was bothersome. A sour note. Had to remind myself about the positive things about this place and there are many ( but heads up for future guests, if towels aren't folded on side of bed, they are not clean)

Nice room and bathroom and good breakfast. Located in a nice part of town with lots of shops and restaurants. About a 5 minute walk from the train station.

The hotel is located in an excellent location close to main attractions. You will not be at fault booking this hotel for the location. The room is ok and comfortable for a solo traveller and the staff are nice. Knowing the hotel and having experienced the room, I would stay again given that now I know what to expect.

The room did not look the same as advertised as it was smaller than the picture. When I asked, the gentleman said this is just a picture of the room and I was given what I booked when in fact the room picture showed a better spacious size. No apologies, no alternatives. I can only recommend hotel team to remove any picture that does not reflect the reality. People make decisions on room pics and it's not fair.

The two men Giovanni who was wonderful at reception were very helpful particularly Giovanni helped me always helpful with my stay. He was kind happy always efficient happy said good morning pleasant to me. Allowed me to stay an extra hour after checkout in my room when my taxi was booked to leave to back to Rome airport. Made my stay a good one for 4 nights. Everything was a pleasure and is a great Ambassador for the Cristi Hotel.

My bed was so hard I had to fold the quilt in half and sleep on top of it. The side of my bed close to bathroom the bed was so old every time I tried to get up off the bed you tried to go to the toilet it collapse and I fell to the floor. I had to grad the wall to stop me falling on the ground. This happened every time. That bed needs to be updated with a new bed.

Location is close to metro stations on Line A and B, so transmitting around to key sites is very easy (for example, to the Colosseum, door to door is around 10 minutes). Walk to Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps is about 25 mins. Receptionist is friendly and can help answer any questions you have, book a taxi, give you a map and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast every morning was great, and included scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, variety of meats, bread, fruits, pastries and sweets. Decent drink selections as well (water, juice, caffeine, tea). Our 3-night stay included 4 complementary bottles of water in our room fridge. Overall, a great place to stay. Amazing gelato is a few mins away on foot, at La Romana. Laundromats a block away if you need it.

The drain in the shower was a bit slow so we had to keep watch of it, in case of overflowing while in use.

Really quiet to sleep, beds were comfortable, breakfast was great and staff were friendly. It was only a 10 minute walk to Rome Termini and about 20 to 30 minutes walk to most tourist attractions. Good supermarket close by. Just far enough away to be quiet in the room. Air-conditioning and wifi worked well.

Only had plastic cups for drinking water in the room. Would have liked glasses.

We stopped here overnight before catching a train to the airport. It was a great location for this as well as easy walking to many of the tourist attractions and shopping area. The room was comfortable, clean, well presented and of a good size. Breakfast was delicious, probably the best we had in 4 weeks in Italy. I could not fault the hotel. The restaurant opposite also served a great meal at a reasonable price.

Breakfast was very good and many choices. The staff was very friendly. The room was very modern and clean and spacious. It looked newly renovated. There was a safe, a nice bathroom, a comfy mattress. About a 10 minute walk to the train station and about 5 minutes walk to the metro station. Quiet area at nice, located in what seemed to be a quiet hotel/restaurant area. We were very pleased.
