The location was excellent, as was the building. Everything was clean, and well maintained. The host experience was also well done, as I was able to ask questions and receive answers.

One thing to note is that sometimes you could hear other guests though the walls, but that is to be expected in this type of building. Perhaps something could be done to limit that? This is a minor deal however.

Although not a hotel and with no onsite management, we were surprised by housekeeping service unexpectedly provided on our 3rd day !

We thought we had reserved 2 rooms for 3 people for our 5 night stay. The night before our arrival we learned that the property has only one room (studio in US) units and so 2 people shared a large (queen ?) bed and the 3rd person had a large convertible couch. Management rented us a second, smaller studio for the 3rd person’s subsequent 4 nights. No other property we have ever booked has misunderstood our reservation request like this. The property has ONLY one room /studios!

Having recently stayed at this hotel apartment in Syracuse, I can best describe my experience as fine to great. The location is certainly one of its strong suits; nestled in the heart of Syracuse, it was convenient to access the town's historic landmarks and the nearby eateries. Upon arrival, the check-in process was relatively swift, though a more warm and informative welcome would have been appreciated. All in all, this hotel apartment in Syracuse offers a genuine and convenient experience of the city. For those looking for an authentic stay with the comforts of home, this is a commendable choice.

The kitchenette, though compact, had the basics for a short stay. A few more utensils might be helpful for those planning to cook.

Amazing location - right in the heart of Ortigia near the Fountian of Athena. Clean, modern apartment. Loved having the kitchen facilities and full-sized fridge for snacks and drinks, as well as an actual table to sit at. Highly recommended!

Saw there was a hot tub available on the property, but didn't find it. In fairness, we didn't look very hard -- and I'm sure our hostess would have helped us if we had asked.

Matteoti Luxury residences was exactly like what we expected based on the information and pictures available at time of booking. Clean, modern, good size room with suite arrangement, nice good size bathroom, simple kitchen amenities and living area, comfortable king sized bed, pleasant view of Ortigia rooftops and the sea beyond. Matteoti apartments manager was very attentive and responsive days before arrival and throughout our stay, supplying timely, accurate information and responding very quickly and helpfully to questions and requests. She made a great recommendation for dinner and booked the restaurant for us, and made an extra effort to work with us on our luggage while we had a late lunch after checkout All in all, we were highly satisfied. The location is great, the quality of the accommodation and the attentiveness of Alessandra really stood out

We arrived too early and opted to pay an extra charge, which made us rate value for money down a tad from Excellent to Good.

The rooms are really spacious, new and clean. Considering this is Sicily I was really surprised by the size of the room, comfort and communications with the host. Whenever I had a question I was messaging the property and got a response really quickly.

I would have preferred to have cleaning daily or any other day. This is available at additional cost which is strange and for the price of the room it should have been included.

Located in middle of action on Ortigia Island (if you don’t mind it being so busy with tourists), very newly remodeled, quite clean, truly excellent customer service from Pierpaolo. Good hot shower. Able to bring car to front door for unloading and loading luggage although no parking on the island. Elevator to third floor with apartments was never busy. Coffee and pastry shop is almost right next door.

Modern, handsome, central location. Beautiful remodel in an old building. Kitchen with all furnishings, like a studio apartment.

No staff, best suited as a rental apartment, maybe long term let. Fourth floor, and when elevator was not working because a user left door open, then next person must walk all those stairs in heavy heat. This happened three times in two days. Management can be reached by text.

Perfect location, right between the Temple of Apollo and the Fountain of Diana. Large room, comfortable beds, full kitchen, good hot water and pressure. Easy check-in process, responsive customer service for questions. Public overnight parking available about 5 minutes away and there is space on the street to pull over and unload people/luggage. We had a great stay, no downsides, good value for the area.

Very comfortable beds, large nicely decorated and designed rooms we had an apartment and a studio, both very nice. Excellent location. No parking but phone staff were very helpful on what's app.

The lift, very small and if other inconsiderate people didn't close the inside doors of the lift you had to walk up. No real contact with any staff just through messages or email..
