UNAHOTELS One Siracusa

A stylish and modern hotel with a character. We were happy with the room, its cleaniness and amenities. Breakfast was adequate. Friendly and polite staff. At some point I had a complain about breakfast to which the manager responded immediately and positively. Free and safe parking in front of the hotel is a bonus.

Nothing to complain about

The spa is exceptional - we had a lovely afternoon having treatments and enjoying the pool, sauna & salt caves. The room was big and comfortable and everything very clean and modern. Breakfast was also great!

If you don’t have a car, the location could be a challenge - it’s on the outer edge of Syracuse, about a half hour walk into Ortigia. We drove in when we wanted to explore the town. We got unlucky in that they had some building works on the roof while we were staying, so it was noisy in the morning - however the staff moved us to a bigger room further away the next night so it wasn’t really an issue in the end!

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Staff were wonderful. Room was bright and clean. Left items behind and hotel messaged me right away letting me know I left some cloths in closet. Fantastic rooftop bar, and area to work. Outstanding breakfast of eggs, meats, pastries, coffee, fruit, etc...everything you could want for breakfast, and more :-).. Nice gym.

Breakfast was very good, with all what we wished for. The staff was amazing, this is what I liked the most. They were all very friendly and very helpful. I didn't use the spa, because I am not a big fan of the sauna, and it was not included in the price of the stay (so that you could just quickly jump in the pool). The room was small, but clean and there was everything I needed.

Facilities are nice. Staff was very very kind. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Rooms was very comfortable. Definitely good value for money. Need a car to get to ortigia.

Overall our stay was great. I would have just a few observations that did no impact the overall quality of our stay: a few details in the room require maintenance (for example the mirror was about to fall off the wall and the colored lights not working). We were informed that the spa required prior booking, hence - not to overlap - our friends and we booked different time slots. When we got to the spa there were other people and we had to wait to use certain facilities. Hence, for future guests, the booking does not entail that you will be the only one using certain facilities. Finally, as a matter of personal sensitivity, the water in the emotional showers and pool was not lukewarm and, to be fully enjoyable, should have been warm.

location is not far from center but unfriendly id you walk - partly you go over the street and cars just drive almost over you. we were suprised that spa was needed to be paid separately and above the price of staying - especially if it is a spa hotel.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, we arrived an hour early for check in but were able to access the room. The room was comfortable and clean with large shower. Breakfast was very good, with a good range on the buffet and other options to order.

All day long, they play Game of Thrones type music throughput the eating area, reception, and halls. It was loud enough that I could not sleep, and I had to call the front desk. They were able to lower the volume but could not actually turn it off in my hallway. Cool music but it should be low background music.

Staff are very freindly and helpful. Although the kitchen/bar was not open during our stay we were able to get items from self serve area. Breakfast was good with typical italian items. The spa was the highlight of the property. Message pool, dry and wet sauna, and a salt room.

Location was far away from city center. No pool or beach close by. For month of August the kitchen was closed.

We spent several days in Siracusa to visit Ortigia, Noto/Marzamemi, and a day at the beach. The hotel served it purpose well as it was decently located in Siracusa (if you have a car). The rooms are modern design, clean, but we felt a bit dark and were not too inviting to spend time in the room. We had mixed experiences with the staff, with some nice and helpful, but others doing the bare minimum. Breakfast was decent. Overall the room was a bit pricy, and would think twice about returning. The main advantage for us was the Tesla Destination Charger which made the place very convenient.
