Hotel Gardenia

A lovely hotel with everything we needed! Pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds. Simple menu for poolside snacks but perfect if you don’t want to leave. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Room was comfortable with effective blackout blinds. Staff were only too helpful to assist with our questions and even offered bike hire. Good location with a lot nearby, however a 30-40 minute walk to the top (the heart really) of Sermione.

Occasionally we heard people coming and going in the corridor outside the room, but other than that the soundproofing was effective.

The location was fantastic. Only a 5 minute bus ride to Sirmione or if you fancy a walk only 60 minutes to the top of the peninsula. There are plenty of buses which go regularly to the nearest city Verona or other towns around the lake. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained. Our room was very modern and had a lovely balcony view The staff were absolutely amazing, they were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this for a couple staying around lake Garda and we will definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a few nights and enjoyed it. The breakfast was an odd mix but nice overall. The location wasn’t bad, about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop into Verona or to Sirmione centre. Pool was nice and the hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful

Providing water for guests would have been a nice idea. It isn’t particularly close to the centre but we were fine with that

We stayed as a family of 5, 2 adults & 3 teenage boys. We booked the family interconnecting rooms and they were super. More spacious than I was expecting, plenty of room for us all. Was a bonus having a little fridge to store drinks. Pool area was great. Staff were extremely helpful. We had an issue with a parking toll ticket and staff on reception told us exactly what we needed to. We would definitely stay again.

No negatives really, only thing I could say was the breakfast selection wasn't kept topped up very well.

Friendly staff, good location, making use of buses easy. Pool and pool area was clean, good sunlounges. Bar/snacks were available at good prices. Breakfast options were good. Lots of information available on local area and attractions.

Room was very compact and the shower unit is small/tight.

Hotel has hood location. Breakfast is nice and tasty, we liked very much. Room is bih enough and clean. Stuff was very helpful and explained all details. Having car park is big advantage.

We had asked a quit room for the night but had a room looking to main street could heat lot of car noise. We woke up couple times just because of cars and motor bikes.

The buffet breakfast was fantastic, the best one we've had on our holiday. The staff and the owner himself were super helpful and welcoming. The pool was great to enjoy too.

The room didn't look like anything advertised on booking.com page of the hotel. It looked dated and was smaller than expected. But nothing wrong with it, just expectations from the photos didn't meet the reality.

The most prominent positive side of this property is its staff. Always friendly, always willing to help and explain. This is a rather small hotel, pretty standard Italian breakfast, a great location, really easy to get to all the major attractions around. The weather was not in our favor, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool.

The room and bathroom were on the small side. The beds were not super comfortable. Somehow we always had a towel or two missing, and had to ask the staff for another one..

Location: We chose this property primarily because of its proximity to Sirmione and due to its parking facilities. The shuttle bus stop (no. 9) to Sirmione is located about 200 mts from the hotel. Property: Quite a large property with a swimming pool. Reminded me of the sprawling hotels in small towns in the U.S. Room: Though we had booked a double room, we were given a family room with two double beds and a single bed (quite large). The room was equipped with two A/C blowers, a couple of cupboards and a writing desk. The bathroom was very clean and of decent size though the shower cubicle was rather small. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was generous. Staff: Very helpful and service-minded (Sylvia & Gian-Paulo)

This is a minor issue but I could not find a power socket close to the writing desk to power my Notebook PC (though there were sockets next to the beds). The bathroom was big enough and with more careful design, the shower cubicle could have been made bigger.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we walked through the door everyone was friendly. The hotel is spotless, lovely breakfast, clean pool. Great location for getting the bus to other areas. Some very good restaurants around to eat in the evening. We will definitely be back again.
