Hotel Riel

Everything was well organised and clean. The free bike rental is the best way to get to know sirmione. The hotel restaurant is very good both in quality and value.The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. The staff was always very nice and accessible. Excellent value for money.

The service was great, we were staying in the hotel for something like 7 days which were awesome thanks to the hotel stuff and thanks to the hotel's restaurant which has large rabge of dishes which every time we visited it we chose differently and every time we were surprised by how good it is! Regarding the hotel, the beds are very wide, and ours room came with a third bed for a child. The bathroom (same as the rest of the room) was very clean. We'll 100% next time come back to this hotel when visiting in the area.

If I'm being honest, I couldn't think of any problems that we were having, but maybe only one, when we woke up a little late, the breakfast did not have all its meals when it was close to closing (the breakfast was ending in about 10 a.m. and at 9:30 some meals were not available anymore)

Check in procedures were smooth. The room was functional and beds comfortable. Attention seems to be paid to all small details to make guests' stay pleasant. Breakfast is, despite Covid restrictions, of very high quality and with a large choice of food. The two ladies who were serving breakfast during our stay were extremely cordial and professional; a very nice way to start the day. A big added bonus of this hotel is their ristorante pizzeria "Al Braciere". Very good quality at fair prices, and again, with great staff.

The sound proofing of the walls (we were in the wing, I do not know about the main building) was not great.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good. Free bicycle hire was excellent and we enjoyed a day cycling along the lake area to Peschiera del Garda. Our room had a lake view which was amazing to sit and relax on the balcony.

The safe in the room was broken on arrival and was not fixed during the five night stay. This would be a problem for some people.

The Hotel was good and clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant next door to the hotel was very good the best Pizza we had was in there. The hotel had free rented bikes which we used to get to and from the old town of Sirmione which was just incredible and so pretty. The Bike ride was 20mins and in that weather was very nice saved walking 45mins and we had a hired car but the car parking up by the Castle was 6 euros an hour. All i would say is the area is super busy and very crowded.

This hotel was amazing for the price, lovely modern/comfy rooms. Breakfast was great although a little chaotic. €20 in a taxi from the train station. The walk to sirmione was around an hour but it was a beautiful walk, the scenery is absolutely stunning and there is a bus you can get if you dont want to walk. There is a pool which would be perfect if you wanted to sunbathe/relax. Staff at breakfast were all friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in April and the air con was not yet in use and it was too hot in the room for us infact when we got back from our day out it was unbearable, we didnt want to open the windows due to the mosquitoes and being on the ground floor but they do have fly screens.

Amazing value for 3star hotel, staff is very polite and with smile on their faces. If you have any wishes, they make it Happen-no problem.I want bottle of sparkling wine to the room and they give without any hessitation, also in the morning we like to drink coffee in our room and they make for us asap. Its the way to go and treat your guests.. Keep doing amazing work guys..Even if we stayed only one night we feel very good staying there..Buffet breakfeast also of delicious and high quality food, we are used to get this treatment in 5stars hotels..Thanks again and keep doing great work..We will be back..

The parking, the swimming pool and the delicious breakfast. The beds were very comfortable.

The fact that you have to pay the parking 5 euros. It is the principle as in my tour, in,other hotels, parkings were free. They did not mention clearly that they own an underground parking. I only discovered when I arrived but it was full. I do not know the price for the underground parking. I think the information should be specified more clearly.

Exactly as expected. Nice and budget friendly stay in Sirmione, easy access with public transit (bus) from Verona. Longer walk away from main tourist spots, but there is a 'secret' access to lake from almost right across the street from the hotel. Can walk to main tourist spots by the lake (longer walk). Good breakfast with good options. Friendly staff that helped us with some practical tips for our trip.

As I said, exactly as expected. Don't expect to be wowed by this hotel, it is exactly what you pay for -- opportunity to stay in overpriced tourist spot in the budget friendly hotel. For us it was starting point for a roadtrip around the Lake Garda and served us well as such. So really nothing bad to say about the place.

The rooms were a good size, had a small fridge and nice and comfy beds. The breakfast was good and the restaurant downstairs was wonderful. There is a large supermarket very close by. The location is great, close to everything (by car) but not too loud or crowded. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

You need to bring your own shampoo etc. Maybe it's the standard in Italy but that was unexpected. The pool was not heated.
