Palazzo Matà Boutique Hotel

My overall experience was so relaxing. First of all, I had suffered a fall a day before checking in the hotel and I requested a crutch for my stay, and they waited for me with a crutch and drink! Which really made me feel welcomed. And this was just the start to what I consider incredible costumer service. The rooms were impecable and quite large. My family had their own rooms too and they seemed very pleased. Specially the little ones when it was breakfast time. I will definitely be coming back! The breakfast was great, and the menu was quite large and kids friendly too. Every meal was incredibly delicious and so elegant. I recommend dinner by the beautiful view by the water, which is across the street from the hotel.

This fully new hotel was an incredible experience, which leaves only great memories. The hotel stuff was one of the most attentive I’ve seen in a long time. Hotel has one of the best restaurant in the city with large variety of seafood. The hotel itself has rooms, which are spacious, clean and soundproof offering a perfect rest for a holiday in a South Italy. You can see that the hotel is placed in a historic building of the old town, incorporating the historical parts of the building in the hotel from 21st century. It is visible that they are doing their work with passion. Definitely recommended!

Unplanned stay got shot at 10. Reservation made 3h before arrival. We got a deluxe room as booked. Large spacious room with an ingenious bathroom with cosmetics. Coffee maker and tea set. We were hoping for a sea view, but this room was not available. We quickly used the shower. The staff offered us to move to a room with a sea view, despite using the bathroom, they settled the subject free of charge. We got a beautiful large room overlooking the sea with a balcony (view also from the bathroom). The owners are very cordial, nice and contact. They will help you solve the problem and will be happy to advise you on what to see. The restaurant at the hotel offers delicious Italian and local dishes. Continental breakfasts with a large selection (cheeses, meats, fruits, sweets and others). They arranged a private transfer for us to a wonderful beach on the Ionian Sea. The hotel is beautiful and charming and the stuff kind and incredibly welcoming! Our room was split over two levels with high ceilings offering a lot of space and natural light. The room also had a coffee maker and cold drinks included in the fees. Breakfast was a great selection of sweet and made-to-order egg dishes. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant the night we arrived even if it was almost 10pm. Thank you to Angelo and Alfa for making us feel at home with their kindness and hospitality!

Nothing really.

The hotel rooms are modernly equipped. Rooms are clean thoroughly daily. The view from the window is enchanting. Hotel staff are really very professional, people who are always willing to help. Accommodation 10 out of 10, would definitely repeat. I recommend!!

The only problem is parking. since the amount of parking in the location is limited, hotel parking is not an exception. However, the hotel staff helped us find public parking, big thanks to them for that!!!

Everything was just perfect, the stuff very helpful and friendly the food was just great and i had ordered not really from the set menu on the cart bit always get what i wanted with a smile on the fase. Breakfast service was great too.

Everything was just perfect even the location of course it was right on the main street but not to hear in the room but at the restaurant and terrace. otherwise not a big issue.

Modern and clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. After a not so good first impressions of the area we actually found Taranto Vecchia very charming and it has a lot of character. Great to see local businesses trying to restore the old town to its glory days. The evening restaurant food was excellent and the breakfast was perfect with a good choice of pastries. Parking facilities were good.

Air conditioning was noisy.

Freshly renovated and a stunning result. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the balcony view over the fishing boats. loved the mixture of the neighborhood old and new, really enjoyed walking around the block and feeling the history before it. I would highly recommend this Hotel accommodation.

Everything was perfect.

This is a newly renovated hotel, located in the old town. It has been beautifully restored and the room was very nice with vaulted ceilings. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. The sights were only a short walk away and there are loads of restaurants nearby.

The area is a little run-down and there are lots of vacant old buildings. Hopefully this hotel is the start of more development there.

The room was beautifully appointed and the staff were very welcoming. Everything we needed was provided for including a wonderful free mini bar and good coffee/tea making facilities.

There was nothing negative to report about the hotel itself however the condition of the surrounding streets could be more modernised.
