Very good hotel with excellent breakfast, quite spacious rooms and a large public bath. Would definitely come to stay again.

Nothing really, all good!

The room was simple but clean and modern. The shared facilities were also excellent including a range of complimentary toiletries, laundry room, and an indoor/outdoor onsen which was again, simple, but always clean and pleasant to use. There were some good food options a short walk from the hotel and the hotel itself had a restaurant (which I did not try personally).

This is only a minor negative. The location was ok. Shin-Osaka does not have a lot around it for a tourist, however, the train station including the Shinkansen was a short walk away, and Osaka Metropolitan was only one stop away.

It's clean..everything is well organised..like putting the clean up room magnet on door before 1pm..means even if u put at 12,they did not knock on doors at 10 or 11am to ask if u want to have room cleaned..so means u can sleep in without disturbance....n they have another magnet tat says no need clean up...and the place new towels in a clean plastic bag jus next to the room door.....if no magnets placed, they will jus put clean towels everyday... The 9-11pm...free soba is really delicious....

In the public bath..there are no rugs or floor mats to absorb the water from our feet., jus where we dress up at the lockers.....so after the bath..its always wet around the lockers..and the Dyson hairdryers aren't powerful as all other Dyson hairdryers I've been using.....so drying my hair in the room is much better and faster..as hairdryer there is more powerful..

Great location, walking distance to shin-Osaka station where you can find restaurants, bakery, cafes in there. The hotel is located on a quiet street where there’s hardly any noise disruption during the night. The bed is super comfortable, shower is nice. The hotel has a public bath which is great for a wind down after a long day of walking. Free night meal provided after 9pm at the hotel cafe which is very thoughtful for residents who have cravings for mid night snack.

The room is quite small. We had a 3 beds room and there’s bascially no space for our suitcases.

The hotel was near to shin-osaka station with only few minute walk. There is a convenient store in front of the hotel. More importantly, we thought we would not use the osen much, but we end up using it every night. We shower downstair and did not shower at once in our room. After a day trip walking everywhere, osen helps so much just to relax and chill. The shower station was spacious that's why we didn't shower in our room. And the washing machines were at great use for us. The hotel also offers free soba every night from 9-11pm. It is light but also filling for mid-night snacks. Overall, with this price and prime location the stay was very great! Will recommend to come back.

This place is special. Located very close to Shin-Osaka station - less than 5 minute walking distance - it is easy to get to any area of Osaka you wish to visit. The hotel has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and great facilities (unfortunately I did not have time to take advantage of the public bath). Wonderfully helpful, polite and attentive staff, and the restaurant next to the lobby serves free soba for guests every evening. I had breakfast brought to my door each morning - which was beautifully wrapped, 風呂敷 style - and it was modest but delicious. The rooms are really small but I thought they were very cute and make use of the space wonderfully well - the small table next to the bed stores the fridge, kettle and tea facilities, it has additional power sockets on top and there is still ample leg room for a tall (ish - 6ft) person to sit and enjoy their breakfast. The thing that personally charmed me - and this is obviously down to a bit of luck - is that I could watch the Nozomi Shinkansen slowly arriving at or leaving Shin-Osaka station every 20 minutes or so. I understand that this may be off putting for many people but I loved the view, especially at night - I felt it was very reminiscent of lo-fi hip hop artwork!

I actually loved everything about it, there was nothing I did not like. But it is important to note that you are situated next to a major Osaka train station and you will be able to hear some trains, albeit only faintly with the windows closed. As I said above, this was not invasive for me personally and it actually enhanced my experience. Another note for some is that the rooms are small and there may be limited space for people with large suitcases or a lot of luggage.

Since we stayed at Hotel andRooms Kyoto Shichijo, we expected a similar excellent experience in their Shin-Osaka location. All in all it was consistent, the staff were so welcoming. The room I got this time was smaller than the one in Kyoto but it had its in room bath which is a plus. Definitely hassle free, and the room was clean. Location wise, Shin-Osaka is around 20-30 minutes away from the touristy Namba-area destinations like Dotonbori and Shinsekai. However it is so accessible especially if you are taking the Shinkansen to and from Osaka. We never felt we’re far from the action but we have to factor in the travel time each time we go out.

The public bath in this hotel is bigger but less clean/well maintained than the one in Kyoto Shichijo. Keep in mind that it can take 15-20 minutes to get here by foot from the main exits of the Shin-Osaka station so it is near but not next to it.

The room size was excellent given that it was Japan. Furthermore, the entire place is quite new, which means all of the amenities and equipment is as well. The location is excellent, a brief walk from a number of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and the train station. It is obviously outside the main city of Osaka, but you can easily and quickly get to it via train, buses and cabs. The public hot water bath for guests is also excellent, as are the massage chairs. Additionally you get both a good breakfast and complimentary soba noodles for dinner, from the attached restaurant. Frankly you can probably spend an entire very enjoyable day in the hotel itself, which is a big compliment to how well the place has been thought out.

Perhaps more staff fluent in English would be better for convenience r, but perfectly good service nonetheless

The hotel was very neat. We had a decent sized room with a modern design. The staff helped us by holding our luggage when we were too early to check in. It's a 7-10 minute walk with luggage from station Shin-Osaka. It's not really near the city center, but if you like a quiet area this is definitely the right spot. What we really liked was the free soba and tea they served between 9-11PM. It was very tasty.

We couldn't visit the spa because of our tattoos, but we knew that beforehand so it wasn't a problem for us.

I really liked the walking distance to the hotel and walking in and being pleasantly surprised by how nice it was in person. Very neat, clean and modern. Love the added touch of having an onsen and massage chairs, use of bikes, free Soba noodles and icy poles each night. So great as an added bonus for those long days exploring.

I would’ve liked bottled water or a refilling station that was a little more convenient and knowing which exit to go to when arriving at Shin Osaka station. These things didn’t affect my stay, and I’d come back.
