UNWIND HOTEL&BAR SAPPORO

Very nice room - great aesthetic, delicious breakfast, very friendly staffs, good location - close to subway. There were many items for rental for free or for a charge during your stay, from massage gadgets, boardgames, party props and many many more. There were free wine in the early evening at their bar. I really love the fact that you can have your breakfast in your room without rushing to prepare yourself in the early morning. The french bread came with the breakfast was very delicious. (It came with an instruction note on how to reheat it with the tiny oven toaster in the room. and in just a couple minutes, the bread was like fresh out of oven - crust outside, soft inside and so sweet when chewing it).

the paper cups in the bathroom - this was such a crash to their overall aesthetics. the obvious stain on the carpet in the room.

1) Location - one subway station away from Susukino shopping district, and 300m++ from the nearest tram stop. 2) Free drinks from 5.00-6.30pm at their bar.. free flow of wine and other beverages. 3) Staffs were helpful to help us to book for restaurants since we don’t speak Japanese. 4) Room spacious enough to accommodate family of 5 with 2 super single beds, one bunk bed and a sofa…

1) Breakfast was a bit too simple - for the price that I paid, I expected better breakfast but instead each of us got soup of the day, 2 pieces of bread, butter and a packet of fruit juice (apple or orange.. randomly). Those who needs lots of energy will have to search for other food outside, or order more extras (from their online web) for additional cost. 2) Still have to walk 350-400m to get to the nearest subway station (Nakajimakoen). 3) No proper dining place - our breakfast was delivered to our room and we had to be creative in adjusting our seatings to eat together.

This was possibly my best hotel stay ever. I thought they did everything right. I wanted to summarize some of the amazing aspects of our two-night stay. Check-in was all done online, and their online site was easy to navigate and very clear. We also received a ¥1000 coupon to use on any service/amenity, and we used it to get a late checkout, which we booked online. The options for rentals/purchases/room service were extensive, though we didn't utilize them. The family room was spacious and comfortable. My girls enjoyed the bunk beds and the couch was comfortable. Having a kitchen to make tea/coffee and a fridge was really useful. A full set of dishes and cups were handy when we brought desserts back from our trip to the city. We didn't use the toaster but it was a nice one :) The breakfast was fantastic! A tandoori soup curry on the first day and a salmon chowder on the second, delivered to the room, with bread and juice. I strongly preferred it to a standard buffet. Very impressed! They brought fresh towels and extra coffee/tea and waters on the second morning, which was a great surprise. The coffee and tea were from local companies and were delicious. The soaps and other amenities were all high quality and locally sourced. Lastly, they had a free wine serving in the afternoons on the rooftop balcony with a fire pit and comfortable chairs. It was really nice to go up and have a free glass of local wine and enjoy the setting. What a nice perk! On top of this, everybody on the staff was incredibly cheerful and easy to talk to. 5 stars!

I loved this hotel. It was beautiful & so cozy. The bar is gorgeous & they pay attention to the details w/ free wine from 5-6:30 & breakfast delivered to your room. The rooms were surprisingly large & beds very comfortable. The rooms are actually more of a suite. Just a few minutes walk to the subway & all the action on Susukino. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The Thai & Indian soups for breakfast were unusual surprises but tasted very good.

The environment was warm and the stuff welcomed us in the best way. The beds were very comfortable, there were a lot of power sockets to charge mobile phones and other devices. We were provided with pijiamas, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soaps and hairdryer + towels. The dishes, mugs, fridge and microwave were also very useful. There's also cook and a boiler. It is quite close to the centre of Sapporo, and well connected through public transportation. The soups we had for breakfast also were very good. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

There were some minor difficulties in the communication which however were overcomed. There's a space next to the mirror that can fits some luggages. However there's not of extra space. Therefore in case you are a group of 5/6 people and each has a luggage, everything can still fit but it does require a bit of spacial optimization.

The family suite was very spacious. Space was perfect for 2 adults and 3 kids (11, 3, 1). Kids loved the bunk beds. Bedding was comfortable and clean. We didn’t get to try the free wine service because we were out enjoying Sapporo. Check-in was ok. Couldn’t use my debit/credit card. It was no big deal. Ended up paying cash. Staff was very friendly. We got PJs, both nights we stayed. Water pressure was amazing and room amenities were plenty. Bottled water in the fridge was perfect for the hot days. I was surprised there was a stove and toaster in the room. Toilet and shower were separated. Air conditioning was perfect in the room. Easy access to subway station, 5 min walk only! Check out was smooth. I was skeptical on the breakfast. I was amazed. Very delicious and different everyday. Local products used. Definitely worth getting. Gets delivered to your room. I opened the door and it’s in front of your door before 7:30am. We will definitely stay here again if we go to Sapporo!!!!

Service of reception staff was excellent, with special thanks to Aya who very patiently resolved some booking/billing issues. My husband really liked the vibe & complimentary wine at the rooftop bar in the evening.

The lift lobby on our level looked a little old and the carpet seemed to have stale cigarette scent.

We love their breakfast in the morning and their terrace to watch the sunset. Thank you for your services

We would like to send the luggage to the next destination. We find that the experience of dealing with this request takes too much time. But there is no problem later. We were not in a hurry.

After being welcomed in a tastefully decorated lobby by a friendly and professional receptionist we were shown to our smallish but artistically designed and well equipped room. Everything worked fine. On the roof there is very nice bar and an outside terrace where we could happily enjoy unexpected free drinks during happy hour!! The hotel is quite central so easy to walk to the centre or parks.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I loved the breakfast provided in front of your room in the morning. The breakfasts were tasty and also incredibly convenient. I absolutely loved the cozy cabin esquè ambiance and absolutely loved the little cozy bar in the 10th floor. The guests were all incredibly helpful during our stay especially since we do not speak any Japanese.

Compared to western style rooms, it was a little smaller than anticipated but I believe that is the case with any hotel room in Japan. It wasn’t a huge deterrent and definitely not something to keep me from visiting again.
