Beautiful property - very close to the ruins - you can walk there - go in via the exit which is just over the road from the ticket office and climb the hill from there, rather than use the main entrance which is a bit further away Right next to the jungle so very atmospheric with howler monkeys very much in evidence. nicely laid out with a nice pool for a dip. Bit awkward to get there - we took a cab but you can get a collectivo from town - use the ruins service - we picked one up very easily on the road outside the hotel when we left

There's a wide range of cabins - some plusher and more modern than others - ours was one of the older ones which was on refection quite small but it was more than adequate and almost in the jungle (which may or may not be a good thing) - just be aware of what you're booking. A torch handy for getting back to the cabin when it's dark There's not many options around for food so you're dependent on the on site restaurant - but the food is good

Right in the middle of the jungle. Beautiful nature, nice restaurant and beautiful bar. Very close to the archeological site.

It just feels that with a little bit more effort this place could be fantastic. The pool is nice and big but it didn’t feel very maintained and there were hardly any spots to lay (there were altogether 4 beds chained to the floor so one couldn’t move them out of the sun/shadow). There were mainly plastic chairs and families overtook the whole area of the bar (they stored their backpacks and luggage around and on the closed bar when the receptions is just next door), so it didn’t really feel comfortable to stay there.

Location, setting, restaurant all fine.

Cabin was fine, did not expect more. The premium room for my friends looked nice but had no screens on windows or door, lock on window did not work, no vent for the bathroom (necessary any time especially in humid climate), no curtains on any windows (plants are not sufficient for privacy). Also the booking.com algorithm seems to push the premium room if you request 2 rooms - we would have been fine with two cabins. This happened both times I brought friends there in the last month. Must be able to book two cabins if they are available.

A lovely place that is equally modern, authentic, exciting and beautiful. There is big parking inside, the big surprise was the room. It had real straw roof also from the inside, it was surrounded by bushes, trees and flowers, river was running by, birds were singing. The mosquito nets allowed me to keep the windows open and the rain during the night was like music. Inside the room there was a big fan - used it just a little. However, not as something bad, there were little tiny ants running around and in the bed as well, little spiders too. But it was really a naturally built house. I liked it very much.

In the evening in the restaurant there was live performance from someone who could hardly sing but through rather loud speakers. The place deserves its tranquility and natural splendor and the singing was spoiling it. There was something really strange with the way the water was running but in the end I managed with it.

Simply a beautiful location, you sleep surrounded by jungle and its sounds and smells. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys and one time at the nice medium-sized pool saw colibris, a toucan, and even some aras. Nice restaurant and bar too.

Wifi in the cabaña was non-existent (good at the restaurant though), and the power outlets were of a different format (only the two "eyes" without the "nose") so we couldnt use our adapter and hence couldnt charge anything in our room. The bathroom was only separated from the room by a saloon-style door so you need to be comfortable with little privacy. Restaurant has european prices.

The location is absolutely amazing, the staff were friendly, pool refreshing, room comfortable, food yummy and the howler monkeys in the trees above our cabin on the first night made for one of the most memorable stays I've ever had!

I wouldn't change anything but guests should be aware that being set in a national park means there may be insects, frogs and lizards in and around your cabin but that's part of being so close to the natural world.

Amazing setting in the National Park backed by jungle. I saw toucans and heard howler monkeys while swimming in the pool - it was a wonderful experience. Staff are very professional and helpful. The food in the restaurant was tasty. The landscaping/planting gave a nice ambience walking around.

The path to my cabana was broken and uneven. It could use some recliners by the pool. soaps were single use - I would prefer a dispenser to reduce plastic.

This hotel gives you the opportunity to disconnect from the busy city and has you experience nature to the fullest. You are in the middle of the jungle, and can enjoy watching the monkeys on the trees when they come out to eat early morning or in the evening. This hotel has lush gardens and beautiful trees all around. The food is delicious and having the restaurant at the hotel is very convenient. The beds could have been a bit softer for my comfort and having a TV in the rooms would be nice to enjoy watching in the evenings after a long day of exploring. This hotel is the closest hotel to the archeological site about 5 mins by car. This hotel is great - we loved our stay there!

Need softer mattresses and TVs in the rooms.

The room was nice and clean, the location absolutely stunning. It's basically the part of the jungle and national park and we saw monkeys, salamanders, frogs and other beautiful animals in the area of the hotel.

The staff didn't speak english and we didn't feel very welcomed. We were asked to pay the bill the night before check-out and one waitress ran to us after we already left, and asked us to pay one unpaid bill from the previous night (we covered the whole bill before). The pool was amazing, however not too clean.

I came here for my 30th birthday and had the time of my life. Unique location, the rooms are pristine, and you can hear howler monkeys and other natural sounds, making you feel truly connected to the environment. There's a pool and a lovely garden, and there are shy capybaras roaming around:) It was fantastic. We went on a temazcal adventure, and I felt completely rejuvenated. It was a once-in-a-lifetime cultural and spiritual experience. I'd be more than happy to return.

The swimming pool is a little worn out, and you can see some peeling paint on the bottom as you swim, but don't let this minor imperfection to deceive you. This location is just wonderful!
