Location and cleanliness

Staff could have been a little friendlier! They were not rude, but they could they could’ve been friendlier! Also, the last night of our stay, I went up to the pool, and everything was turned off (lights) before pool closing hours, and the pool was one of the features that attracted me to the hotel. A few items were missing, including an additional robe, a hairdryer and an iron. They did bring them up once I asked for them, but I feel like for such a nice hotel, Those items should already be in the room. 

Demetria is unique and a very special property. From the moment we drove up, the staff including Sr. Angel, were exceptionally helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. It is Modern but at the same time juxtaposed with timeless cultural historical artifacts throughout the property. The rooms are spacious, clean, beds very comfortable. You can set the temperature in your room to your own specifications for comfort. I would return to Demetria without hesitation.

The location of the hotel is good for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The entire hotel has a cool urban vibe and the neighborhood is trendy.

The room was a good concept that did not work in the end. The sink was on one divided side of the room and the shower on the other side. The room had several different levels and a confusing layout. My friends were in other less confusing rooms.

The food was very good, excellent location. All the workers were very nice. Comfortable beds. The hotel is very different and pretty. Loved the pool area.

Food service is extremely slow. Housekeeping needs to improve and clean the glassware evert day and change towels when they are not hung. A closet with no hangers. Safety protocol in the hotel very bad. Using the entrance of the hotel for parties is very inconvenient for hotel guests and very loud.

Bar staff was great, helpful knowledgeable and friendly.

Front desk staff did not have the rooms available at time of check-in. Room service was inconsistent. Only cleaned my room one out of three days. Never had extra towels and bare minimum of a room resources. Towel Soap fresh towels (only one of each felt like it was being rationed same as key cards, which was tacky).

The location was excellent. (I don't eat breakfast.) The swankiness of the space and architectural ideas to me were the most pleasant and memorable. The restaurant and its service were very good also.

I didn't like 3 things: 1. The placements of electrical outlets were useless for the use of my computer. 2. The shower head that could not be adjusted well enough. 3. The sink slashed water.

Amazing pool and funky hotel. Staff were professional, kind, and always available to help.

Guadalajara as a city isn't super walkable-- be prepared to uber. Nothing to do with the hotel! In fact, this location is prime as far as what IS walkable. Just a note for those planning to visit.

The location is ideal. Very modern hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I didn’t like was the old and scaly shower head in our room. It need to be changed.

We love Demetria Hotel, it was a fantastic experience, the architecture and design are amazing. Very friendly staff. We will return again for our next vacation.

Location was in a nice area. Hotel was absolutely beautiful. The bed was the comfiest I have ever had. The staff were excellent. Pool area was nice and quiet.
