One Beach Street Zona Romantica Puerto Vallarta

The unexpected sea view and the location, close to everything.

whilst I appreciate there have to be rules and i understand the importance of security, I feel some of the rules too harsh and this would make me think twice about staying here again

Amenities and cleanliness

Staff harassing me of which room I’m in each enter/exit when I clearly have a hotel property wristband on.

Great location to gay beach and everything in Zona Romantica. Walk everywhere. Condo has everything you need but dated and a little worn. Ocean front units have the most amazing views.

We understand security but they don’t allow any guests. We would have liked to invite some friends to enjoy the sunsets. AC only in bedroom so the kitchen and living room get a little warm. TV could be nicer.

The 4 choices for the free breakfast was great. I ate every option on the menu. It was perfect. Danny my waiter was very nice and greeted me every morning at the restaurant.

What I didn't like was being locked in the hotel and couldn't go and come as I please. I understand the safety issue because we are in Mexico but I've been to Puerto Vallarta 32 times and never had a problem.

It's not that I didn't like but the hotel is for lgbtq community when I read the comments it said family hotel. And the floor from the family room it swallen they had to remove about 8 tiles so the door would close.

I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite on the fourth floor and had great views of the ocean and beach. The suite felt like home to me, it was clean and had amenities you would need if you decided to stay for a awhile. There was a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stovetop, oven and fridge, sofa, dining area, a balcony with tables and chairs as well as washer and dryer. Staff was great as well. I was always helped when needed.

There really isn't something that was worth mentioning besides the fact that they do not allow visitors to your room. Which I guess makes sense for security purposes on the whole property. If you decide to bring someone, you risk yourself of getting a fine or additional fee added to your charges. I found it odd that you need to return the AC remote, tv remote, lockbox keys as well as the beach towel when you check out.

Location was perfect, right on the beach and close walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Pool was great and quiet if you prefer not to be on the beach.

Although the room was spacious and comfortable, i was street level at the front of the building and would have preferred to not have been.

Breakfast at Sapphire was convenient and consistently good.

This is a picky comment, but our towels came wrapped in plastic. I am not sure if this was a COVID practice, but it seems unnecessary and environmentally a poor choice. There was a changeover of management during our stay which caused some gaps in service/confusion.

The reception was super strict. At first they weren’t gng to allow us to stay since we exceeded the capacity. At the other hotel we stayed kids under 2 didn’t count. Then I told the reception that I had no problem at other places and she decided to call her superior. Thanks to her superior we stayed with no problem. I was unhappy at the beginning. We were gng to go else where but at the end they fixed the issue.

Perfect spot for five days over the Holiday with my family. The hotel has some "weird" rules but I'm guessing they've had some issues in the past. Very helpful scheduling departing COVID tests! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Pool towels on the small size. Make sure to bring the basics. There's no coffee available, for example.
