La Iguana Vallarta LGBT - Romantic Zone - Party Clubbing Street

I like how it’s within the Romantic Zone, close to restaurants and bar. I also like how the room is equipped with basic appliances you need.

Just speaking on the room that I got, it would have been more comfortable if living room also has an AC. I didn’t get to enjoy the living room because it was very hot. The AC in the bedroom is not strong too and on my last day, it broke and I have to transfer to a smaller room. Although I already expected the noise because the location is surrounded by bars, this may unpleasant for certain people. Didn’t bother me as I am a deep sleeper. Also would be nice if front desk person comes in early for people checking in or out early and if they can speak a little English for travelers not able to speak Spanish. I know it sounds silly because we are in Mexico but not everyone speaks Spanish.

Location was great!! Very clean, quiet inside, great amenities. Spacious, granted we had the grand suite. Love a full kitchen. Full refrigerator, stove.. had a separate room to wash clothes. Nice decorated. Rooftop pool, space was great.. nice quite place. Very comfortable place.. couch a bit small.. 2 tvs .. noise was expected so, we were prepared. Love to people watch. Thank you

Definitely could use some more bathroom towels, and mat. Only 2 bath towel was provided. Thats it.. Definitely need kit hen towel and a bottle opener, and some glasses. They also need to have a broom and dust pan, floor get very dirty. The lighting need to be lamps not blasting ceiling lights.. 2 chair on balcony would have been superb. Definitely need more sheets and blankets. Lot of street noise, it's the main bus road and main night club.. which should have made the price lower. Bring lots of ear plugs.. but was tolerable.. oh don't like the checking in window time frame is very small.. hate the deposit procedure and you can't find anyone to get your 500 pesos deposit back

As always, terrific location. This was our second stay here. There were some remodeling going on in some of the rooms but that didn't really stop us from enjoying our stay here. If anything, we enjoyed it even more now that we know our way around. Be sure to check out Los Muertos Brewery (on the corner two doors down) for some excellent beer, appetizers, and pizza, the Litten Brod cafe across the street for amazing bread, coffee, and pastries, the well-stocked mini-market across the street, two doors down from Litten Brod for all your apartment needs. Also, having stayed in three different rooms here, we felt room 305 was the best one yet. Strong WIFI, great light, and really comfortable layout.

It was a little dusty inside the apartments, in the kitchen, we had to re-wash some of the dishes and clear out the dust before we could proceed with using the equipment and utensils. Other than that, we were very happy. We did not like the room on the second floor due to issues with the WIFI signal being weak due to rebar in the cement walls, and the hot water tank was not on, the lack of exterior light. Fortunately we were able to relocate to a better room on the third floor with strong WIFI, a working hot water tank, and better light.

Centrally located in the Zone Romantica, just a few blocks to the beach and close to many bars, restaurants, parks. Rooftop terrace with pool were nice. Rooms are large and clean. Check-in and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. I had an interior facing room (no balcony) which blocked out the noise from the bars on the street.

Drinking water was provided on the second floor--I would prefer access to water in my room. Reception hours are limited so no one was there when I checked out to return my security deposit so I have to pick it up at Western Union.

We came for the location, and were pleasantly surprised by the classic, traditional decor. Quite a charming suite! Perfect mattress! There will be some noise after midnight. This is an entertainment district, but we slept beautifully with the $3.23 set of ear plus from Amazon. Gilberto, Roberto, and Lupita were perfect hosts! Just a few blocks from the beach, and only 300 m from The Fit Club, a very clean, well equipped gym we joined for only 499 Pesos each for the week. In fact, we walked to everywhere we wanted to go on this last trip. Oh, and the pool on the top deck is a great place to chill out and relax. We shall greatly look forward to returning!

The facility itself was excellent for the price. The staff was very prompt to respond to any issues and the property was well-maintained, especially the beautiful rooftop terrace where we spent many hours each day.

Very noisy on the eastern half of the first floor. That side of the building is directly above a club that blasts music from 10pm-4am. They provide a fan in the room we had on the first floor (directly above the club) that helped a little, but the noise from the club was still very loud and good earplugs are needed to get a good night's sleep. The bed was very firm as well, so depending on your preference, you may or may not sleep well.

Spacious rooms, and the kitchen had all the utensils I needed for basic stuff. the pool was quite nice, though shallow. Staff were nice and the check in was pretty easy.

It was quite noisy at night, as it was right above a nightclub. There was also construction noises during the day, but I think that was a temporary thing.

La Iguana was super convenient. It's walking distance to all the major sights or easy to get a cab. The staff was super chill, friendly and helpful. There was a supermarket across the street and good food downstairs and around the corner. My room was also a good and comfortable size and I could lay in the bed all day. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only downside is the noise at night. Between 9pm to 3am, it is pretty loud. But, this is why I went to PV. If you want somewhere quiet, stay elsewhere. If you're ready to party and relax, this is the place to stay.

Everything was great. the location the rooms are very spacious. didn’t even need that much space but was like to have.

A bit loud even when staying the other side of the building but the noice was mostly coming from air conditioning units outside that sounded like they need maintenance

The rooms were spacious and the property was an exceptionally good location (in the core of Zona Romántica). Staff were extremely kind and available.

Check-in hours are quite limited (from 3 pm). If would have been highly appreciated to be able to check in earlier (for example, from 2 pm).
